Not sure who's going to win the Aulie trade but it pisses me off that Toronto converted our 4th rounder into a first round forward from last year. Thanks Darryl! - S Kaspar Rollins
Hey, I hadn't thought of it that way, good point! |

Biggest winners were Calgary. Signing Tim Jackman was HUGE for them! |

Good luck, nobody wants Raymond. - woopstash
Darcy wanted a center . Raymond in my opinion would not have gotten Kassian. |

not really, didn't accomplish anything, depth defenceman I suppose but didn't address the top six forward issue. |

I don't see KAssian helping the Nucks now, Kassian has been playing timid and not hitting all that much a couple of fights, I think another year he will start to fit right in, but hey who knows, it might be a kick in the pants he needs and he starts bringing it, with a very good offensive team.
I actually think it could be a WIN for both teams, but still favouring the Sabres slightly, Hodgson is really going to help guys like Leino and Stafford, at least we seem to be heading in the right direction.
This deal has the feel of the "Briere" deal and if it turns out even that good it is a bonus, but I think it will be better than that, can't wait for the Nucks/Sabres game this road trip!!! |

There really weren't any available. Howson's asking price for nash was absurd |

Rolston a few years ago perhaps and even then I wouldn't have called him a game changer, Mottau I don't know enough about but it seems he's bounced around a bit, I liked Rolston when he was with us the first time but he's almost 40 now. |

This still doesn't make up for the Leino deal Darcy!!!!
But it's a start. - jochfr
Hopefully he plays with Leino and can help him. Leino has played better of late so maybe this only adds to his development. |

I cant wait to see if Kssian is in the lineup when the Sabres play the Canucks and who Kassian runs at first especially with Goose gone as well.
I'd bet he tells his new Canuck teammates , run these guys into the boards early and often , they have noone to step up ! |
