Hey Bro, your boys did a nice job... |

Could end up being a win/win. Kassian can put up points while being way more physical. Two very different players but Kassian could be that big top six winger for Kesler.

Booth-Kesler-Kassian
Higgins-Malhotra-Raymond
Lapierre-Pahlsson-Hansen
Jesus Christ that was difficult. We have a crap down of forwards. Bitz, Weise, Ebbett all in that bottom 6 mix too. I feel like I'm forgetting someone.... - AK3
YA............It should have been Raymond.

Not bad. A first for Gaustad and getting a #1 center in Hodgson. I'll take it. |

At least the Sabres are admitting they're not good enough. Building for the future. Werid how they went from being potential contenders in the offseason to now doing a mini rebuild |

I would say the Bruins picked up the two worst players of the day, so we have that going for us. - GSDIV

The Blues did the best, Getting a 2nd rounder for Bishop they were going to lose anyway and didnt make a deal and kept this team intact. We will soon be geeting Steener, Dagas and Langenbrunner back. Gonna be a good run. Dont mistake team chemistry with Hitch! |

Im surprised Armstrong was not moved.... thats one guy i wanted gone at least.
Aulie for Carter Ashton was a good trade in my perspective, we have too much depth on D and Aulie probably wouldnt even get a chance to make the roster top 6 D.
In a way leaf fans should not jump on Burke for not getting Nash. Columbus was probably pressuring so teams would overpay. Burke will not do that. And on the plus side, this brings a better chance of Burke acquiring Nash in the summer, along with the likes of Parise being up for grabs if he doesnt resign with the devils and along with Paul Stasny and what colorado wants to do with him.
With the whole goalie situation, no we dont need an old goalie like nabokov or knabs. Not necessary when our team is not even playoff ready, we can make the playoffs but face it, we are not going far in the playoffs without a number one centerman at least. Look at cory schneider and jonathen bernier for goalies to acquire in the summer.

Agreed. All the way to the finals here they come, i projected LA to make the finals from beginning of season when they acquired richards. Then later after your playoff run, please send bernier our way. Please and thanks |

Only way Canucks win this deal is if Canucks win the cup this year. Interesting series of trades. Don't know enough about this Kassian kid, but Hodgson was looking like a solid pick. Wish he could have been a Canuck longer. Time will tell, but Cody certainly has a bright future ahead of him |
