Allen will be offered a contract extension when the season ends, as he has been key to our improved play of late.

Of the only two players on the block (Allen and Spacek) Rutherford said that at his asking price, he didn't receive any offers for either player.

We'll sign Allen, let Spacek walk, and that leaves room for a defense next year of

Nashville made a push to prove to their big 2 that they are serious about a playoff run. So they are winners.

Avs were winners in the small trades that quietly make that will get them closer to the playoffs. Downie has been on fire.

Buffalo has a lot of issues to work out but they managed to get a 1st and a young center to build around.

San jose made some great trades to improve as well.

I dont think LA is a winner because I doubt Carter is what they really needed.

The vermette trade was underrated for phoenix.

There were a ton of losers though.

Too many teams like the leafs, washington, boston, flames,habs and dallas just didn't get anything done. The blue jackets were major losers, because they handled Nash horribly.
