Honestly, we are getting so close to the bottom now that we are possibly entering the draft lottery zone. I would have been okay with dumping someone for a 1st and then maybe combing both 1st rounders to move up even higher in the draft, top 3 would be awesome and it is a great draft year.

Face it, we need to address problems in the offseason where it doesn't cost us anything other than $$$$.

For example, Josh Harding and Zach Parise are potential UFAs that would look awesome in Leaf Jerseys.

was wondering if they might actually - MArlies are short D now cause I think Blacker is hurt, and a couple others. Only went with 5 D the last 2 games, back to back, then traded Aulie. Gardiner is only guy up who is waiver exempt.
