I missed Burke presser, but can tell you Tor could have traded Schenn,Kulemin,MacArthur and Grabovski for 1st round picks.

Apparently they're ok on the dollar number, it's the length they're bargaining over. Burke thinks he can get him signed, especially if there was any truth to that Chicago rumour.

And if there had been more forwards in this draft, they probably woulda traded Mac and/or Grabo.... But it's a poopty forward class, which is a big reason for the Aulie trade. They're probably looking at drafting a Dman, which put more pressure on clearing the backlog.
