Sounds like #preds only give up picks in Gaustad deal.

My only problem with it is if we were going to sell, sell big. We should have been able to move a Dman, if not 2.

Gaustad was playing lights out lately, and if its just picks coming back then, yes, it tells the players that....oh, well never mind. word is we got their first rd pick for goose and the sabres 4th

That would work.

The Rangers have always lacked appropriate depth and players playing roles that they are best suited for. They have that now, and yes Gaborik and Richards are a part of that. But they don't need a Nash. The reason the Rangers are kicking ass is because they are constructed appropriately. All 4 lines play their appropriate roles.

Their 3rd and 4th line role players are pretty much built through trades or FA signings, as well as a key D.... Boyle, Fedotenko, Rupp, Prust, McDonagh, Stralman

Homegrown offense and defense.... Callahan, Anisimov, Stepan, Dubinsky, Staal, Del Zotto, Hagelin

The biggest turnaround for the Rangers were the additions of Gaborik and Richards for scoring and Torts. Torts probably at more than 50%
