The Rangers have always lacked appropriate depth and players playing roles that they are best suited for. They have that now, and yes Gaborik and Richards are a part of that. But they don't need a Nash. The reason the Rangers are kicking ass is because they are constructed appropriately. All 4 lines play their appropriate roles.

Gaborik is an amazing player when he's healthy. Also, when the playoffs start, everyone is going to see how good brad richards is.

If they think that a cup run is a possibility next season, then they may want to keep the D intact. I've certainly bashed a few of them this season, but there is certainly potentially a GREAT blue line there.
