Arthur Staple @StapeNewsday
#Isles clunker tonight doesn't change approach to major deadline chips (Nabokov, Parenteau), but could be a few more moves than thought.
It's unexciting and not what everyone wants, but I'd love to ship off as many of the sh!tbag defenseman as possible, for later round picks. - eichiefs9
I hope so...this team sucks... |

If you'd rather see zero professional hockey for 3 years than watch the Isles play then, please, by all means go cheer for the team that plays in Manhattan. |

Not jumping...still have my Giants...
I think they might make a big trade tomorrow with players other than PA and Nabakov...Okposo, Striet and or Grabner might have played their last game as an Islander...if Staple tweeted it then he heard something... |

The "few more moves" he mentioned are going to be trying to dump whatever spare parts we have on the blueline for whatever value we can get for them. If we can even find a single taker for one or more of them, don't expect to see anything better than a 4th round pick coming back. - eichiefs9

4th rounders sound great for these dmen. The Few moves I'm sure will be minor. |

I agree, I'm all about it. Reese will be healthy soon and likely staying put, because he'd have to clear waivers to go back down. |

I'd love to move Streit and KO. I would like to see if Grabner can bouce back next year. I would be shocked if any of these 3 were moved tomorrow. - ses111
I'd be shocked if they moved Grabner. The other two I don't give a poop, useless. |

I would be shocked if Snow moved anyone aside from Eaton and Jurcina. I'm not sure Snow could handle that even if someone dialed the phone for him. |
