He plays in Colombus so who knows
- mighty13duck

Which makes it all the more likely he's tired of playing for a constantly rebuilding team. It's widely known he made a short list of teams he'd accept a trade to, and not for a single second did I think that the 26th overall Islanders made that list.

Well, tomorrow's a big day for Garth, imo. He's either gotta get these guys signed or move them out. I believe keeping them while there's a very good chance they leave as FAs is something you do if you think you're a contender...not something you do if you're in the Isles' position hoping you can eek into the playoffs in a very unlikely scenario with a team not at all built to contend in the postseason. I'm not the biggest Garth fan to begin with, but if he just sits on his hands tomorrow, you guys will probably have to talk me down again sometime around 3:30

How can you be -19 when you only play 5 shifts a game?

Cause hes learning.........and playing with zero talent. For the record you get a plus when your line scores 5 on 5........I don't recall reasoner, pandolfo, or Wallace scoring many goals!

Snow is playing it close to the chest. There's guys on Twitter saying no deal will be reached with Nabby but regardless he's not being moved, I've heard that until Nabby's camp is given DP's status for next season negotiations are at a standstill. There's so many reports floating around, who knows what's real.

My "source" simply told me "I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow - nobody does."

If PAP & Nabby aren't signed by the deadline & are still on this team.. its an epic fail... regardless if either or both signed in the off season... letting 2 major assets reach freedom is undefendable.

that line has 3 goals this season... And Jurcina has the worst +/- in the league, -26.

I can't wait for Strome to crack this lineup. I used to have season tix to the Ice Dogs - he's a feisty little (frank)er. Awesome hands though, he'll be a stud for sure. He reminds me of Pat Kane.

Speaking of Kane, fun fact from tonight's game - Grabner is third in the league in takeaways. Only players infront of him are Kane and Datsyuk.

- Mr.Black

I'm curious to see if Strome is ready to go next year.

As for Grabner, the more I watch him the more I see him as a bottom 6 forward, like Darren Helm. He's got an active stick and is, as you pointed out, clearly pretty deft at stripping the puck. I think teams have picked up on the obvious fact that he's likely the fastest player in the league and play him accordingly now, which is why he isn't producing like he did last season. Not to mention he has a severe case of cement hands.

To be honest with you Crappy has ruined him...he should be playing in juniors if he isn't playing 2nd line minutes...a different coach would do wonders for him...

prepare yourself for a failure of massive proportions than. Both players won't be signed by 3 pm Monday and both will still be Islanders. PA's camp is waiting out the season simply to A) See what PA's final point production is and B) Going to get some offers and give the Isles the chance to match. He (PA) wants to be an Islander, but for the right price. I can see Parenteau cashing in on a 4-5 year 14-22 mill.

he doesn't deserve the pressure he's been put under either. He should have seen a couple of games and than sent down. Letting him rot with these idiots for the entire season has done nothing for his confidence or skills. Nino however can asses his physical state, maybe needs to bulk up and get stronger on the puck and he see's the speed at which the game is played at this level. But overall, fail by the GM and coaching staff.

Niño needs to work on his first step. He's incredibly strong for his age.......

Remember how Tavares' skating improved after a few seasons. Niño will be the true power forward that the isles want and need. He will be everything Okposo isnt.

Yeah Tavares what an improvement. Is he training with Gary Roberts?
