MPH on the goals:
1st goal: 68 MPH
2nd goal: 41 MPH

Glen Healy was just bagging on Bryz, saying Bryz shouldve been able to stop the 2nd goal naked.

I get it that people want to look at EVERYthing leading up to a goal, yes the WHOLE team looks bad, but when it comes down to it is the 2 seconds prior to the puck going in. Should it be stopped? Yes, then it's a bad goal.

P.S. Flyers have met their match....Calgary is a turnover machine tonight too, has Kipper let in an "Oopsy" goal yet?

- Glak18

i'm with you. there comes a point where the goalie has to do his job, whether it's stopping a turnover or just a great play. he's not doing that right now.

flyers have yet to have a point blank chance like stajan had. nevertheless, kipper's been there every step of the way, just like every other (frank)ing goalie they face night in and night out, especially they ones on bad non-playoff teams.

The other day, a kid at a skate and shoot asked me if I knew a goalie (none had showed up).

I pointed to the Flyers logo on my t-shirt and said "Nah. I'm a Flyer fan."

that's good stuff, right there.

He'll be back.

Loving Morganti & Boruk kill Bryz between periods. Had I known *THIS* would replace Coatesy's Corner, I never would have said anything negative about the Show.

Not saying he's wrong, but kinda funny considering I'm sure Glen had his fair share of poop games in the NHL

I watched that whole Hotstove segment. They showed all the soft goals that Bryz let in during the DET series last playoffs. Did Homer not see any of those highlights before signing him? Wow. Just wow.

The team sucks as a whole. No one move is going to do anything right now.
- feelingkettle

Should be 0-0. These guys on HNIC are killing Bryz and there are dead right. They all are saying the same thing. 15-5 in shots, owned the boards, and time of possession. What more do you want? What do you guys want? Save the (frank)ing puck and problems go away.

I watched the Rangers today. You know how lax they looked. You know how many turnovers they made? How many guys they left loose? But lundqvist stops the shots he should and then some. Say all you want, win as a team and lose as a team. That's fine, but one guy is killing them and it's in the teams head. Get Nabby and resign him for two years, keep Bob, and amnesty Bryz to get him the hell outta here.

I believe I once saw Healy called for two consecutive illegal stick penalties when he was playing for New Haven.

Yikes.

Stajan's shot was nothing special.

- MrBuzzcut

Nope. Another case where you wonder why he didn't make the save with his stick? Low shot, on the ice, right at him. He tried to make a pad save instead and didn't get it down in time.

I have no idea what the hell is wrong with him. That said, if the team doesn't play any better, we have no shot no matter who is in goal. They've been shut out for 4 straight periods. Why?

-No jump, slow to every loose puck
-No jam, no checking, no making the other team pay the price to make plays
-No passing, i.e. can't complete a simple tape to tape pass.
-No forecheck whatsoever
-Stupid play, poor decisions with the puck
-Skating in to coverage instead of passing or just getting it deep
-Missing their check all over the place, horrid defensive coverage
-And last but not least, horrid goaltending.

I wish I knew what the answer is, but certainly there is no trade or free agent signing that is going to fix all that. Players have to man up and play better. No other answer.
