On twitter JJ is talking as though brassard will be moved any minute. He thought Canucks for Schneider or maybe hawks. I am a fan of brassard, this would be a good pickup.

If the Canucks trade Schneider, it's for a major upgrade somewhere else. I don't see Brassard as a fit in Vancouver. He's not a 3C and doesn't play wing...if a player like Brassard doesn't fit in your top 6, he doesn't play.

You guys, that deal makes no sense. you're trading a 35 goal scorer who can play C and W, PP and PK and a guy who has 30 goal potential who is just starting to emerge, PLUS a 1st rounder for a power forward who has never scored more than 41 goals and has a 7.8 million dollar cap hit.

How does this make the Hawks a better team? If anything, it creates more holes.

Thats was my train of thought. Does Sharp have a NMC because hes not signing off with Columbus uf he does.

Saw Brassard play tonight, same as he has been all year. Competitive, creative, played right point on PP (very well I might add). Kinda surprised CBJ would deal him actually. That's why I thought it had to be for a G, which then led me to VAN.

We'll see. No Hawk scouts at CBJ tonight I heard from Portzline but that means next to nothing. Hawks don't need to scout him.

Who cares. If guys like Stalberg become untouchable when a world class player is out there then the team will never make a trade. It's called STan Bowman disease. You win the trade by getting the best player in it.
