Id rather have him than Gaustad. He knows Cammy well, who could center the 2nd line.
But if you must, until Backlund comes back, we are weak at center. Is Yanic Perrault available for our awful faceoff performance?
How bout GlenX and a 3rd for Brown, then Sarich and a 4th for Gaustad?

In the back of the heads of the GMs, this is the difference between Reimer and Bernier in terms of future promise:

Reimer drafted 4th round 99th overall 2006
Bernier drafted 1st round 11th overall 2006

Bernier has 159 games between AHL/NHL
Reimer has 107 games between AHL/NHL

Bernier's overall stats better between AHL/NHL and more consistent.

The kind of returns being talked about for Dustin Brown and Jonathon Bernier, I don't understand why they just don't ship them to Columbus for Nash if they can fetch that much.

But it would be countered by unloading dead weight. And Brown is much better than his statline suggests. Brassard would cost a chip and a top9 forward and/or top 3 rds pick... what's the offer?
