Just puttin it out there, but how untouchable do you think RFA Duschene is..?

I would LOVE to see Stastny + Duchene --> Grabbo, + + + + + +
Get rid of Grabbo, he's not worth 5 mil per, and WON'T be resigning in the summer.

My god you are a know it all? Why aren't you an NHL GM yet? The Kings will be lucky to get a deal like Blacker + Kulemin for Brown and when the deal goes down and they get less you'll be upset.

I've coached hockey for years and stats rarely tell the whole story. I can tell a lot more from watching a player play over an extended period of time than I can from a stat sheet. I don't even really see a debate here.

There is a Mike Green and Matt Greene, I can never remember which one is Mike and which is Matt... I don't really see what the big deal is.

Well, lets consider Stastny's 6.6m. While Stastny has been the better preformer and player, Grabovski seems like the type of guy that puts his heart out every night and shows signs of being able to put up 70+ points. I would give Grabbo 5m, but it would only be for 2/3 years for insurance.

Kings fans.. I won't throw them all together, but they have as a whole not liked Johnson's play.

What is ironic is I was one of the only ones who stood up for the guy. He has potential, he just has never lived up to it yet.

After this Jeff Carter trade, a lot of Kings fans are livid. Johnson AND a 1st for Carter?

I mean say what you want, all trades are risks. But we sold high on Johnson and bought low on Carter. It may not work out in our favor, but our only strength this year (besides Quick) has been our D, and we are fairly deep with prospects.

And I was one of the only ones who actually liked the trade. It's funny how it all comes around full circle.

Where you at the game last night or watch it? The Flames were pathetic. Feaster must be losing his mind. If I was him I would dangle Kipper (like you said yesterday) and see what you can fetch. Doesn't mean you have to trade him but who knows what gets offered up.

I agree, dangle him and see what you can get. IMO you need to get a goalie back if you unload Kipper. I don't like moving forward with Irving and Karlson. The team will look a lot different after this summer though. We just gotta be patient I guess. Wouldn't mind seeing Sarich, Hannan go for some prospects/picks though. Insert Babchuk until Butler is back. Wont hurt that much and they can maybe reclaim a 2nd rounder or 2!

Oh I think he will for sure. But if we want to try and win with Iggy and Kipper (insert joke here) we will need a couple impact players via free agency in my opinion.

Stats don't tell the whole story. You're right. As far as Jack Johnson goes, he is not our second best defenseman. He could have had the potential to be at some point, but what he has shown since being a King is not 2nd best. I'm sorry. Not that this disproves you on it's own, but you will be hardpressed to find a Kings fan who would agree with you. I was one of the only guys who ever backed Johnson if you want to know the truth.

Let's put away all the hate and agree (at least East teams) that we all really don't want Boston to get Dustin Brown. That would be....pretty (frank)ing bad for the rest of us.

But the problem with that is that Blacker would not help right now, and Kulemin is not an upgrade over Brown. Fair value or not, I don't see how that deal gets done considering LA's immediate needs.
