I'm not even exaggerating, I think I might have more creative moves and better hands on a breakaway than Grabner. He doesn't so much even try to flinch a little to freeze the goalie up, no fake load-up, nothing. He just comes flying in and drags it over to his backhand. If he had half a set of hands he could score 45 a year. Also, terrible pass to KO on that half-assed 2-0 or however you'd like to refer to it. Low hard shot at Biron's pads would have been better, let KO scoop up the rebound. - eichiefs9
It's like he's too fast. But he was alot better on breakaways last year wasn't he? |

Nice win. I love how the broke Devils got Zidlicky in a trade. Even Phoenix made a deal. Maybe the Isles need to go broke before making a deal? |

Here are two $4 Million questions:
Does PA deserve more than Moulson?
Doesn't Nabby deserve as much as DP? |

It would be funny if it was not soo sad. Really makes Snow and the Isles look really bad especially when many of us are not even expecting a blockbuster deal. |

I really like PA but I'm not sure how the Isles risk losing him for nothing when he shoud have solid value? To me he needs to be moved if not signed. Isles also need to decide on Nabby as well. |

They have to make every effort to keep him. He's out-scoring Moulson this year, in total points. I don't think he's a better player but we can't afford to give up those points. Offer him $4mil/year for like 3 years...if he turns it down then we tried. No reason to overpay and alienate our core, but they need to make a strong effort to keep him around. |

(frank) that..that is way to much...YOU CAN NOT TRADE NUMBER ONE PICKS WHEN YOUR TEAM SUCKS... - NYI78
OH yes you can, when that player turns out to be the bust that Kyle is...trade him. |

Yes, because he does more than just score goals.....and no, Nabokov should make at least twice as much money as DiPietro, because DiPietro is cr*p. |

I don't care what NHL.com is saying about the Canucks- we beat the best team in the league last night. Of course, I'm surprised Biron even saved two in the shootout; he's usually utterly worthless in that situation.....but it's still a win. Now they need to keep playing like that every night- there's no more wiggle room, if they're serious about really taking a shot at making the dance. |

Let's get carried away here. We beat best team without their best player which is their Goalie lundquist.
Very happy we won. Grabner really needs to start converting. We cn beat on him all we want. He is only NHL player who creates 1-2 breakaways fom himself each game. He'll start to bury them |

The experts say he has bad hands...while Moulson has good hands which makes him a 30 goal scorer... |

I was at the game last night and I was stunned that we won in shootout. NYR fans were at the game and were obnoxious as usual. Thank god we won! Whooooooo Our next victim is Senators! let's go Islanders! |

kyle isn't a bust...he just isn't a top 6 forward..if okposo nielsen and grabner was our third line we'd be a playoff team.. |

I might be the only one who feels like this but it is time to trade Okposo. I am tired of watching him play with the puck then lose it so the opponent could have a chance to score. It is like hot potatoes to him! |
