I might be the only one who feels like this but it is time to trade Okposo. I am tired of watching him play with the puck then lose it so the opponent could have a chance to score. It is like hot potatoes to him!

if the price is right anyone not named tavares or hamonic is available

Oh, how I hope the Rangers mortgage the future for Nash. It will be great.

Hawks looking for some goalie help, not much out there, Nabokov available, Leafs actively discussing Nabokov with Islanders though...(cont.)

Yeah, there is one NHL team that does dumber things than we do.....trading Rick Middleton for Ken Hodge's corpse comes to mind.....

3rd rounder for Wolski? Unreal. I'd love to keep PA I just do not see how the Isles can risk losing him for nothing. I hope KO gets moved for a dman.
- ses111

Wolski is useless....a 3rd round pick? Who's their GM, Milbury? Hopefully, if we don't sign P.A., we can get a defenseman who can actually play in exchange for him...if guys like Wolski are bringing back 3rd round picks...

That said, to me, Nabokov should not bring back anything less than a 1st rounder, right now...if I'm not getting that, I'm not moving him. I'd rather take my chances that he will sign, and try to make a run for the dance.

Snow would be run out of town if he traded our starter at this point with the playoffs still in reach. No way he does it.

Rolston was put on waivers, Ullstrom recalled.

Thank god. I can't believe he was on a point again last night. Let the hit streak begin

Much better odds of them not making the playoffs so they should look to deal him if they can't resign him and watch him walk for nothing in a couple of months

Depends what Toronto is offering...good be a good package...remember Burke is desperate...some good big defensemen Toronto has..Franson, Gardiner, Gunnarsson is OK...all 6'2" or bigger..

Normally I agree with you but if the players really believe they have a shot then you just can't do it. Hopefully Garth is really trying to sign him and its just not all fluff.

They are not making the playoffs, if they feel like they have a shot then they should have showed up and played like it the last couple of games. If they can't sign him and there is a good offer out there then you take it. This team's defense is so bad outside of Hamonic its comical. They can't put a long winning streak together and without that the playoffs are a dream.

Toronto is offering nothing. That NHLSourcesSay account is a bigger crock of sh!t than the crap Eklund peddles.

This article pretty much drives home everything about these self-proclaimed anonymous insiders that are all over twitter: http://www.ontheforecheck...er-the-e-k-l-u-n-d-system

Problem is! No matter how long you bench him, it wont make his hands any less brick like.

well worth the experiment. He seemed to be able to find the back of the net more last year. But you have a point.

I have no idea what's wrong with KO? I just wonder what finally turned on Snow's brain with Rolston? Did Rolston insult him or Wang?
- ses111

He parked in Garth's spot. When asked why, "Because I'm older than him."

There's a reason why two NHL teams passed on him. They need to get rid of Grabner and I'd add Okposo to that as well. Grabner has hands like feet and Okposo is soft.

I don't think they will either. I'm just not sure killing some of these guys psyche is the best move though. I would hate to lose nabby or pa for nothing too if thats the way this is going to go. Totally agree that if they really wanted it they would have shown up against ottowa. I mean lets face it- even if they make the playoffs, with the squad exactly the way it is now our defense is going to get killed and Nabby will be shell-shocked for the next few years. I guess its what ive become accustomed to as an isles fan for the last almost 40 years. 1 minute i want them to win and the next minute...well you get the idea.

Why do they need to get rid of either of them? Grabner is only 24 and signed to a good contract, especially where the market is. He'll probably end up with 18-20 goals which isn't too shabby. I think you have to give Okposo one year more before you go crazy on him considering the type of surgery he was coming back from.
