Trying to keep Hemsky and Brown would be a nightmare. Brown signed until 2014, if Hemsky signs a 2 year he'll be the same, that'll also be the summer to renegotiate with Nuge and a year after negotiating with Hall and Ebs. If we sign Brown, Hemsky is gone.

Then you move someone when the market is right. I'm all for moving Hemsky, but if you can't get value then don't. As it stands we have cap room, deal with the lack of cap room when it's closer to reality.

That is true... No use being proactive about hypothesized problems when they are not present...

We are likely not going to get brown anyway... The teams that are making strides for the playoffs will be the ones paying and overpaying.... not tambo...

I remember a few months before Grebs, gagner and others were set to be RFA's how TSN talked about all the troubles we would have. 3 months later there were zero issues with the cap.

When are we resigning Hemsky already?? We all know that there is no blow your doors offer on the table yet... He is getting healthier and has shown in his play... Just resign him and forget all this hypothesized BS... BTW... question- Is Krueger being groomed to replace Renney? as Renney was in the press boxes last night... if he is able to be there why in the (frank) is he not behind the bench??? I bet he is done after this year...IMO...

Renny concussion...Hemsky has today to call Tambo himself whether he stays or goes.

I would say EDM has just as much assets to pay for Brown as another team. I wouldn't mind seeing EDM overpay alittle for Brown and not hurt the future. It's not like EDM is clearing out the roster and future for a Rick Nash type player. It might be good to take a risk on Brown as McKenzie states EDM is in the run for Brown.

Think it was McKenzie that said either today he signs or they deal him. I don't think that means a trade happens today.

As for Renney, the difference between standing and sitting is a big

lol sorry i got a lil annoyed at how nonchalantly he made this trade proposal....its not that serious i'm jus pointing out the facts unlike most ppl who jus go with anything TSN reports (Subban is a cancer blah blah blah....)

As per TSN Ryan Rishaug..."Can confirm there is an offer on the table to Hemsky that he is considering at this time.. Believe it to be a 2 year deal."

Let's see what happens...

I didn't bother reading all of the replies here, but I'm assuming the Habs fans are saying Subban >>>> Our 1st round pick... To that I say "dog sh1t."

Murray/Dumba will be better... In FACT, they will rape the NHL. (frank) the psych eval, Richard, let's just stick with Murray or Dumba

Hemsky was never in a million years going to be traded for a top pairing D. Gomez. go away.
