He's worth more than that. Nothing guaranteed about the picks...he's guaranteed.

I am not a fan of drafting a goalie in the first round cause you can find some in the later rounds.

Mtl would be better today with Kopitar and Halak than Price and Eller.

What a great game tonight.... a lot of energy.... detroit fans keep pointing to the missed offside, and no datsyuk

The odd man rush opportunity they blew down with Higgins and other Canuck player clearing the zone just before Higgins touched the puck that had been cleared back in? Freeze frame showed they were both out first but, better safe than sorry right?

I thought it was a very well played game. Lots of flow and some good play. Obviously Raymond played like a toolbox with about 5 minutes left but the nucks did not get burned by it.

I love Raymond for what he went through and he should be up for the Masterson Throphy... but I am now thinking he is a weak link.

Ya I dont think we can afford to wait for him to get his confidence and game back. He was a better player but I think a change of scenery would be good for him.

Well as a Leaf fan i would love to have Schneider... unfortunately i know it would cost an arm and a leg.

I'd offer Schenn, a 1st and your choice of Kulimen or McCarthur.

Would that offer be fair?

- Sundin113

Finally a reasonable offer. Yes, for that we would do it.

Dustin Brown would be a pretty decent pick up and Van are interested accoring to insiders.Raymond obviously part of the deal ,who is the second peice? Boshman suggests Tanev . I think that puts us in with about 5 other bidders. What about Lapierre and Raymond? We do have 5 centers and Reinprect will be called up in the playoffs and I believe he is center also. That would pu us ahead I believe of other bidders.

Man that would be a nice pick up for the Canucks if they could land Brown. First, I don't know if the Canucks have the pieces to land him and more importantly I'm not sure the Kings would trade him within the Conference unless the Canucks gave up too much which MG never does.

Canucks do and they would trade. LA has traded with Edm so why not Van.They may not make the playoffs so adding speed /penalty killer with a gritty centerman who stirs the pot? Why not . If Higgins wan't sick all the time I would offer him. Maybe Hansen? Brown has two years left at 3+ m and can throw down the hits.

So based on your post what kind of offer would you make for Brown? I forgot they traded with Edmonton. I think the Canucks are seen as more of a threat to the Kings though and a bigger rival but for the right package I guess I could see it happen. He would be a big pick up for this team.

I just hope MG is working the phones and exploring all possibilities for this team as I do believe they need another decent forward and defenseman. I really agree with most that Raymond is bringing the 2nd line down.
