Or Lombardi just said, Johnson and 1st is more then enough for Carter. Maybe he has some other heat on Bernier somewhere else. Either way, I think Schneider is no longer a Canuck come July 1st. - fiveandagame
doubt it. The Kings need Carter a Whole lot more than the Jackets need Johnson.
if Howson wanted Bernier he would have got him tonight. He didn't and that to me says Howson has someone else in mind |

I don't want leafs .Their pick ups in the past have doen us no good. - VANTEL
I think Schenn would actually do well on a decent team where he just supposed to be the 5/6 shutdown D man and not expected to be the 2nd coming of Bobby Orr. Both Kulimen and MacArthur would be and upgrade on Raymond and the 1st will be 10-15 range. I would make that deal in a second if I were Gillis. |

You really think Gillis expects to get two firsts for Schneider because Sherman is stupid and doesn't know how to negotiate? Doubtful... - Avs-Ice
Schnieder is a better goalie. Much better |

By the way, how about that pass from Henrik to Daniel on the tying goal. How the hell did he know he was there. Im pretty sure if he wasn't, the puck was going in our own net. |

Mac Is decent. Schenn I am not putting a lot of stock in him yet .He has trouble making the Leafs and their D is not that great sens me a warning. |

But the Leafs have the deepest D core in league. Just ask any Leafs fan |

I would rather send Schneider to TB, get him out East. I realize CLB would probably be better picks but would prefer him where we don't have to play him as often. |

Schneider for two 1sts would ensure the Canucks would be good for a while. If Gillis could some how pull that off, wow. Especially with a team like CBJ. Cue Ek's "Yakupov to Vancouver (E4)" rumors. |

Fair enough, Howson might be targeting Schnieder, but I don't think he will give up 2 firsts for him |

Harding? - jakenewton
I know Harding has done really well but their is something about him that makes me think hes not going to be able to keep it together and consistant as a number 1.
Maybe its because I fukking hate his name. I dont know. Harding just dont sound like an NHL name.
Am I wrong. |

Or Bishop? He still has to trade Nash before next season though, and Schneider is his best option since Boston will likely not move Rask so he should be targeting us as a trade partner. |

After trading his 1st line center I can't see Howson trading the 1st overall pick. |

A team in rebuild does not trade away 1st round picks... Well one exception. |

Ya, me either. If he's not already fired by then, that move would do it. As good as I think Schneider will be you don't trade away the 1st over all pick when you're a rebuilding franchise for him. Especially with all the hype Yakupov is getting. |

I heard Dreger/Bob Mac say a couple times that MG wants a first/good prospect and a top 4 D/top 6 F. |

Harding? - jakenewton
Over the summer there could be a lot of guys I'd rather have for two 1st rounders (Halak, Rask/Thomas, etc) depending on how the playoffs shake out.
The last thing Columbus needs is a goalie anyways. They've got too many holes that if they don't plug those first any goalie they get will be mentally destroyed within a year. |
