Sorry to burst your bubble but even if the Sabres beat Boston tomorrow, we still ain't winning sh!t.

Sorry, but it's not a purr-fect world kitty cat

- RayHatesDomi

Besides, they still have to BEAT BOSTON. Then the Rangers. That is a stretch in of itself.

LA needs a scoring infusion. Staff probably will not fit that description based on his performance this year.

Sad part of it is, I don't think Darcy will trade his golden boy.

Maybe a change might help, no Lindy screaming all the time.

They're not going to beat both. In fact, I'm not sure there's a team in the league that would sweep the both of them on back to back nights, maybe someone like Detroit or Vancouver in the West. If they're going to win, I hope it's Saturday in New York, only because I'm going to it.

At 5.3 I don't think Getz is overrated. That being said, come monday at 3, if Pavelski and Brown are here, I'm all good. I just want/need something to happen

If it's just Brown, I'm good

If we trade 3 or 4 of the core for picks/prospects, I'm good w/ that too but this status quo thing just sucks

- RayHatesDomi

5.3 for only 1 more year though
We'll have to re-sign him north of 6mil per
And I have a hard time doing that for a guy who won't score 25 goals
And I'm not convinced that bringing him here automatically will up vanek & pommer's goal totals by 10 each
I do know that pavelski is solid in all areas, scores big goals & is a 4mil cap hit
Plus we'd have to give up a rediculous amount to get Getzlaf or Stastny

I think our best shot at the center we are looking for is drafting Galchenyuk

Darcy can't trade our first. We need that pick.
- Losman

How about Stafford, and this years two 2nd round picks (Calgary) for Brown if LA wants picks. Trade Gaustad and Leopold for at least two more 2nd round picks, with most likely mid-level prospects as well.

Vermette would have been a nice player to pick up.

True, but I don't mind seeing Adam at 3rd line center next year

Says you...

Edmonton when to the Cup Finals as an 8th seed, Philly more recently did it as a 7.

Fix the problems on this team via trade (I.E. trade Stafford and Grags to Dallas for Riberio and Ott), and we're onto something here.

Honestly, help should have come a long time ago. Had it, we wouldn't be in such dire straights today.

Riberio is a healthy version of Tim Connolly, who can be a 1a, 80 point, playmaking center between Vanek and Pommer.

Ott can also play center, and would add tougness for that 1st rd Boston match-up, as well as more skill than either Goose or McKormik.

Well, it would have been a typical Darcy type move

I'm glad we did n't get him. There's more than enough mediocrity on this team

Ok Nostradamus...

Tell me then, what if they beat both Bos and the NYR by Monday?

No more screaming Lindy here would make a big difference IMO

I'm not surprised the players don't play hard. They can see that there's no accountability in this organization. The players are not the head of this snake

So, Edm and Philly went to the cup finals and what did they win? oh yeah, nothing

It's not me saying it, it's history saying it. 6, 7, 8 seed never won the cup. 5th in conference, only twice. The worst team to ever win the cup was the 8th best team in the entire league. All facts, so sorry if I don't have faith that a team that has been garbage all year is all of a sudden gonna win the cup if they somehow manage to back into the playoffs

Even if they win both guys we should still be moving the core on out of here
