I'm in favor of dealing every one of them for picks/prospects and to free up cap space to bring in a bonafide talent like Parise who is better than Vanek and Pominville will ever be.

Get a top 5 pick in this year's draft and build around that pick, Parise, Ehrhoff, McNabb, Myers and some of the younger, cheaper assets acquired by selling off the current core.

Vanek is overrated in my opinion, I'd rather have Parise.

And while Stastny may be overrated, he is still better than any center we've had in 5 years. His #s may be down these past 2 seasons but prior to that they were nice. I think he would benefit from a change as he is not happy in Colorado and he is probably the only center we have a realistic chance at getting

And If Adam and Ennis are players you'd prefer, then we won't trade for Stoll.

Also, nobody is taking Leino from us. However, I think he'll end up working out. I like him w/ Pommer

And you think parise is the answer? You'd be better off signing Suter or Shea Webber.

Offensively this team needs CENTERS!

Center is the most important forward position, because the have the most responsability. And this squad hasn't had a decent forward crop since Dru and Danny left.

Without a center, all your wingers will underachive. With an all-star enter, Vanek would be a perrenial 45-50g player. Pommer would be a 35-40g guy.

I understand the complaints about darcy, but he has a better resume than most of the gms in the league, and we make it sound like we have been worse off than edmonton or something all this time

all that being said, i'm assuming he will be relieved if they dont sell and end up missing the playoff
