We would have to get in a long line for brown. I think if you take penner for the rest of the year that would help. The key would be getting rid of some of the other scrubs on the team for picks. Two of Gaustad, Leopold, Boyes or Stafford for picks would free up space.

Kuroda isnt terrible, I'm a dodgers fan, watched him pitch a ton....he's a good pitcher, IMO.

But he's played just over 4 full seasons worth of games and is -90 for his career
I just cant get around the fact that he's at least a -15 every year

We could prob then trade Penner to a desperate Toronto team... Even if it's just for a 5th round pick
Or send him to Rochester if we really have to
He's UFA after this year, so I'll def take Penner if it means working our a favorable deal for Brown

could be right, just had an ERA of 3.07 last year,league ave was 3.94....he''s pretty solid.

We have not had a #1 center since 07-8. Darcy and Lindy must not think center is an important position. Maybe Darcy can extend Gaustad and sign Bob friggin Corkum at the deadline, If we get real lucky Brad Boys. It baffles me how a GM who has not made a good trade in years, passes on good players and throws money around like a teenager at the mall to get Leino has a job.
