Brown is the leader we have been lacking 89.

Disagree on the game changer, top 3 in hits in the league. Will drop the mits, stuff like that changes games.

Trading Kopi would be pointless for them IMO

Brown would seem expendable if they get Carter, and apparently he is

- CaptainRivet

Brown is a good player and I take nothing away from him however, I don't think he's a game changer that we need.

agreed.

We need a game changer to rally around. A type of guy that that Matt Freakin Ellis's and Paul Gaustad's and hunker down and focus on their job while the superstars do their thing. I just dont think that guy is available at this deadline.

Sabres don't have a player like him on the roster. He would be a huge piece in regards to changing the stagnation that is the Buffalo Sabres

He hasn't done anything for the Kings or they would be in a differant position now wouldn't they.

I think thats part of our problem. We have "talent". But its tough to figure out who we are really building around. One legitmate superstar like Malkin for example and all of a sudden you can see your lines start to make sense. Your powerplay lines are more clear. Guys arent bouncing from line to line. The scrubs suddenly can focus on thier roles instead of being asked to do things they cant do.

I think the Kings would really like to unload Penner... I would take a combo of Penner and Stoll or Penner and Brown anyday...
- BuffaloKyle

Penner is (frank)ing awful. I would be more pissed at that trade than not trading 28.

Please put the meth down, no offense.

There's about 1000 reasons why we all hate Roy and Stafford. How those two net us Stastny and Brown is beyond me.

Pominville for Brown? Realistic.

I hear ya...
But let me know when a "stamkos" becomes available...
Stastny & Getzlaf aren't "game changers" IMO either
Bottom line-
Brown would make us better...
And at a GREAT cap hit
