I hate Elmwood village. Everyone is so pretentious.
- Pierceme69

Wow, I couldn't disagree more
Sure, there places that can be considered trendy where some uppity ppl hang out...
Blue monk currently comes to mind...
But for every place like that there are 5 bars like mr.goodbar, fahertys, etc

Is there something specific that gives you that impression

If the sharks get Nash... They will win the cup...
- BuffaloKyle

because Nash has such a proven track record for winning? I don't think that puts them head of Det, Van, NYR, Bos or Pitt with Crosby (maybe eveb w/o)

We would go there to eat and then drink across the street at the Park Lounge. Laid back, quieter and a lot less expensive. We're good friends of the owner and played softball for them. Was never a need to leave Kaisertown in the day. For $25 you could eat and drink til 2am, then walk home.

Never been To the park lounge... Standing outside of wiechecs we witnessed some drunken fights over there though!!! haha... I lived on old French road for about 5 Years.. wiechecs was my bar...

Giving up Pavalski will hurt them more than they will know!
- Irish 14

I agree here. They're saying Couture is off-limits, but if I were shopping off the Sharks roster, I'd rather have Pavelski.

LAK and CBJ are working hard to get a Jeff Carter trade done -- Jack Johnson's name featured prominently as well -- but told not done. Yet.

Maybe they're hoping that Carter will be happier because he'll be reunited with his buddy Richards.

Totally.

Some of the best years of my life were spent living on the Strip, must say. Between that, Allen and those hidden bars West of Richmond I was knee deep in liquor and women throughout my 20s.

But I also like drinking in Newfane.

Some of the Chosen Few would come into Park Lounge, sometimes it would get interesting, then the owner put an end to it. Wiechecs had great themed parties, never forget the fire marshal shutting it down for overcrowding. That was some time ago, now I'll go there on a Friday for Fish Fry and thats about it. Things change little in that place, went there and the same guys were sitting in the same spots as 15 to 20 years ago

Weichecs is just one of those kinda places. Don't forget Godons in North Buffalo. Great Party bar/sports bar. Great wings, very welcoming.

What do you mean? I guess someone like yourself couldn't understand the Elmwood vibe as well as someone such as myself who is awesome & important.

Agreed. Kyle-this isn't like you.

We could all stand to be a little less snippy with each other. ALL of us.

That's what Toronto fans are for.
