Oilers simply outclassed the Flyers during that period. Hope Paajarvi is alright. |

True... (frank)ing Hartnell... This is why we need to be bigger up front and in the back end... I hope PVR is not injured... he was finally starting to click...poor kid... |

I know... for games like these we really need peckham, along with Sutton... to kick some ass... |

Should've been a five minute. Good to see us pushing the Flyers around before and after that too. |

I understand not wanting to take an instigator, but Hartnell when he is done serving his minor (WTF) better not get a choice. Someone better be sending a message or why the (frank) are they paying Eager, Hordichuck or Sutton. |

I'll give em 43 seconds into the third to make Hartnell swallow his teeth
edit: I hope to see it happen at least

This draft scares the (frank) out of me. Question marks on all the top players. - Reveen
You got that right...Mikhail Grigorenko's competitive nature is questionable. I may suggest to skip the Russians and grab a Canadian or Swede

The refs seem to be trying to keep the Flyers in it. 3 cross checks on Hemsky and a blatant hold on Hall all non-calls. |

Oilers with 120 minutes of solid play in a row... Interesting. |

Some real terrible calls in favor of the Flyers. Worst part was after everything they ignored, Hall gets called from a bit of a knee slap with his stick. |

Should have been a (frank)ing high stick call on Dubey as well as the cross checks to hemsky and hold on hall... Complete bs but at least we SHUT OUT hartnell and the flyers for another year!!!!!! |

To be fair it was more than a "slap"...but yeah if the refs are gonna put the whistles away for the stick slash on PRV that broke his stick, the three cross checks on Hemmer, and the take down on Hall they needed to keep quiet on the Hall slash...it was a penalty, but weak to call it at that point.
I so wanted Potter to score on that SH chance and tell Hartnell to suck it.
EDIT: Yes and the high sticking on DD by JVR |

Exactly, we play Phoenix on Saturday, be nice to extend the win streak to 3 and play spoil sport for the Coyotes and then for the Jets on Monday...really pumped to watch that game. It's funny, we're really starting to creep up on teams in the East, it's totally possible we could pass Buffalo, Islanders, Montreal, Carolina by the end of the season. |

Anyone catch Flames GM complaining on Sportsnet about his own team during their game vs the Coyotes? LOL...!!! Someone's not happy.

Hemsky as a 2nd line rw when hes playing inspired emotional hockey would be a great thing but not at 4-5 mill per year...hemmer has been great for the oilers but its not 2006 anymore hes a moody injury prone player and signing him to any length of deal at 4-5 million is just as bad or worse than the penner horcoff and khabby contracts the oilers have become known for and regretted..mediocer Play = mediocer payday.. Always been a hemsky fan n would love to see him stay but not at such a ridiculous price... Id rather send him to detroit for a bag of pucks n see him get another well deserved shot at a cup or walk away on his terms this summer than tie up cap space on another BAD contract based on potential he rarely shows anymore |

Are you crazy that is a total over payment..the kid in jury prone and only has 30ish points...he wont even get to 20 goals....7th rounder is fair compensation...or we add our 1st and ask Mtl nicely for Gomez.

2 year contract. Not going to affect our cap space or restrict us from signing anybody else. No reason to stress so much. |
