In fairness to Penner he was signed to an offer sheet. How could he not sign that. Burke in Anaheim wouldnt of given him that much money. - poisondhearts37
That is true though put it this way, Grabo is said to make 5-5.5 million dollars. Are you seriously going to pay him 5-5.5 million dollars for having 1 good season and as of now hes stuck at 40 pts doing absolutely nothing in the past couple games or so. Grabo is no kessel and is no carter and is no getzlaf and is no perry and is no richards and is no bobby ryan. All those players mentioned are consistent 30 goal scorers getting paid 5-5.5 million dollars. And your telling me Grabo is going to get 5-5.5? Not a chance in hell Burke pays that. More reasonable would be 4 million Grabo gets paid taking a home discount. Other than that if you dont like it, trade him away. |

Ek, so hows the day job at McDonalds going for ya? You still getting all your rumors from the McFlurry machine? - amp143
Are you serious?
Back off of Ek would ya.
Envious much?
The guy was just in between the benches at the Colorado/LA game last night.
Ek probably holds more knowledge of hockey in his baby toe than you do in your entire body.
Unreal some of you and your failed infantile attacks. |

roy, sekera, grags and 2nd round pick in next yrs draft for brown - LizzyJo
Yea you are over valuing Dustin Brown by a lot here.
No way Roy gets included in a deal like that. |

Take out Roy and you got a deal.
Why trade away our one decent and proven center for another winger. - JVince117
They need scoring and nothing in that deal outside of Roy provides it. |

Nope. Sabres already have very little depth at Center and the Kings have a ton of depth at center with Kopitar, Richards, and Stoll. It doesn't make sense.
Trade wings and picks. |

Sometimes a GM's hand is forced to keep a player. Or you lose them for nothing and have holes to fill. |

Then its just not meant to be.
I would trade a combination of Leino, Boyes, Stafford, Adam, Leopold, Sekera, Grags, or Gerbe with a pick or two to make it equal.
If LA doesn't like it then it is not meant to be. |

That is also true, though if anything you dont go and sign the player to a long term deal. Perhaps a 1 year deal or trade him at the deadline. |

Perhaps you should check out the definition of the word "rumor". - Juice
Very true it is RUMORS...that is why we all follow this to see what possible deals are out there to improve our teams of course most do not happen but how many other people with apparent great sources RUMORS come true?

Well hes stuck at 40 pts as of now, we have yet to tell what he is going to get. Grabo should be getting around 50 pts a season, MAX 60 PTS+and thats overacheiving. |

i dunno about that.
think about it...
kulemin has had a HORRIBLE season, if he cashed in even half the times Gbov set him up...Grabovski would already be at around 50 points.
Grabovski is a tweener...not quite good enough for a first line center, but a very good second line center.
4.5 and under id take him...above that is too much. |

See now thats more reasonable. 4-4.5 mill though max id pay him is 4mill is what he should be getting paid. Not 5-5.5 mill.
Grabo is a 50-60 pt guy max. That whole line last year overacheived than expected, though kulemin is having an off year but could bounce back the next year. If resigned, he will probably be getting paid 2.5-3 mill max. |
