Ya gots to do somthing to past the time . those rescue vehicles could be 20 minutes away - cabin
and how often do you meet a superstar center? Probably partially concussed, wouldn't be able to make out the word "no" even if he wanted too. |

Interesting.
If McNabb for Getzlaf was offered.. and I know there would be other minor pieces involved.. That would be hard-pressed not to say yes to in my mind. - JVince117
Other minor pieces? That trade is so far from reality its ridiculous.
I love Mcnabb but he is not a top prospect in the league nor would fetch someone like Getzlaf with other minor pieces involved. |

So was Mat Ellis and Luke Adam.. how did they turn out. - JVince117
Hey, Luke was playing well, then he got taken off the top line...and played with Cody and Ellis. |

Hey I look at it this way If you at work have a family problem you might have a week or 2 off but after that your ass better work just as hard and as good as you always have... - Therat36
Ever been through a divorce or better yet a divorce with a child? Its no fun and something you carry with you every day while going through it. You have some good days, but its something you carry with you very moment of the day. It makes life difficult to function and two weeks off generally doesn't help resolve the problem. Now put yourself on the road and in the spot light, just more on your head. |

Understandable...he may just be disenchanted with the organization for whatever reason. Buffalo needs dynamic players like him though but again I was just being hypothetical.
I mean if the Ducks wanted McNabb for Getzlaf I would strongly consider pulling the trigger. Team has a solid d with a few more solid up and comers. It would solve a huge need without sacrificing a roster player. It's just makes sense under the right situation. - Max to the House
A few years ago I actually really like Marian Hossa and would trade for him to come to the Sabres in video games and what not.
I just wish we had an automatic guy that could steal games.
Pommer/Vanek/Roy just seem to be if they are not scoring then the Sabres aren't winning. |

Luke Adam will be back in the starting lineup with the Sabres and Matt Ellis still is.
Your point? |

Exactly, I blame Lindy frickin Ruff for Lukes apparent confusion.
Lindy screwed that kid up. Nobody else!!!
Luke will be back and hopefully Lindy will be gone . |

It's true...they need more scoring depth but a ton of teams can say that. Need Ennis to be healthy, Stafford and Gerbe going in order to have a chance.
That said changes are needed. |

Exactly.
Stafford wont be moved.
You can pretty much book that! |

Brad Boyes for Dustin Penner?? - Cpilc
Its such a lateral move I could care less. Id say do it just so I can hear a different players name on the play by play. If he gets a new spark, awesome. But its not really a move that makes us better or worse. |

I know but for a guy like brown would have to over pay but I also see that as a deal that would help both teams a lot.. - Therat36
But does L.A. really want to trade their captain for a lazy winger and a prospect who is years away from starting in the NHL? |

Lindy has yet to bring along any younger scorer - Therat36
He only stunts their growth.
Cant wait till Lindy is out of here!

God I hope not, I wish Lindy would just bury him on the lines so Staff would request a trade. The guy has one good year and sadly it was a contract year. |

Who though? Ennis has been alright after being out for awhile.
Kassian isn't so much as a scorer but he seems to be a head case right now if the reports are true.
Adam just isn't playing well no matter what line lindy puts him on.
Not saying Ruff isnt at fault but I dont think we have had much to work with. |

Don't see what the point would be...
Trade one dusappointing UFA for another?
It maybe helps us a little this year, but I can't imagine they'd re-sign Penner unless it's at a very reasonable deal... And I don't see that happening. Penner will get 4mil from somebody & it better not be us! |

That is such a terrible generalization (Vanek, Pommer, Miller, Roy, Campbell, Tallinder, to name a few). |

After his last few seasons I don't think anyone would give him 4mill. Same thing with boyes |

That's easier said then done! Just because someone makes a lot of money, doesn't mean they are exempt from having issues or problems dealing with them. If management is aware of these issues and helping deal with them and understand that this can be fixed, then I applaud them. But I don't care how much you get paid, there are just some things that will weigh on you no matter what. Putting on a uniform doesnt mean he leaves his problems in the locker room, they still are his problems. Being a professional athlete doesn't make you inhumane. |

I would as well. Brown is still pretty young and he's a leader. Though, LA has struggled as well this year. But I like the style game he plays. I'd definitely do it. |
