There are Panthers tickets available for $1.50 for the game tonight, that's outrageous. There are also center ice tickets probably equivalent to our 200 level, for 25 bucks. - snowstorm077
Sounds lucrative! |

Nope , i am not willing to move Armia nor Stafford.
Stafford has been dealing with serious family problems for most of this season.
Stafford is not going anywhere.
And why would I want to unload perhaps one of the flashiest playmakers to come along to the Sabres in quite some time in Armia for a guy like D.Brown ? - TerryPegs
Cause as of right now Armia is a could be a might be And I don't care what problems staff has been having, He has played hard One year of his NHL career The guy play's 1 game floats 8, |

I've never heard about that.
I just picture in my mind what the like 2013-2014 Sabres will look like and I don't like the idea of changing it.
Vanek, Pommer, Galchenyuk, Kassian, Kaleta, Ennis, Armia, Catenacci, Foligno, Adam... unfortunately I see Leino and Stafford still on the team.
Myers, McNabb, Ehrhoff, Pysyk, Brennan, maybe even Finley/Gauthier-Loc - JVince117
You are missing C.Tropp in that line up . |

Where do you keep hearing that Stafford is dealing with "serious" family problems??
You said this in other blogs I've seen. I don't think he was married so he is not getting a divorce??
Is a parent or loved one passing away or diagnosed with cancer or something? |

Foligno is 6'3 227.. Likes to hit.
He has 33 points in 52 games in the AHL.
He is basically what we wish Stafford would be.
Brown is an already NHL proven version of Foligno. - JVince117
Great he sounds like a bottom 6 grinder.
Staff played a mere 34 games in the AHL and registered 22 goals and 22 assists.
Folignos play will not translate into a top 6 winger.

I know Armia had a nice WJC this year, but are we sure he's definitely going be that good? |

“I saw his car in the pole,” Theron Banks, an employee at Steak Express said. “I came out. People were everywhere. Toews was in the ambulance. People were videotaping and taking pictures and trying to get autographs, but police said they couldn’t get autographs.”

Not sold on Tropp yet. I haven't seen him play enough.
Looking briefly at his stats. It doesn't look like he has done anything to red flag him as "key component" of the Sabres going forward.
Besides he is kind of small. |

We have no other promising top 6 NHL forward prospects according to most people.
So why do you want to trade the one guy that looks like he could be?? |

I know your being hypothetical but I would NEVER want Ovie on this team. Well atleast not 2011-2012 Ovie.
If we are gonna trade away our future I would want it to be for a younger, more cap friendly, franchise cornerstone than Ovie.
Ovie embodies exactly what I want... A phenomenal scorer, a big body, not afraid to lay people out, and not afraid to fight.
Ovechkin has NEVER been the same since he got a C put on his chest. - JVince117
Understandable...he may just be disenchanted with the organization for whatever reason. Buffalo needs dynamic players like him though but again I was just being hypothetical.
I mean if the Ducks wanted McNabb for Getzlaf I would strongly consider pulling the trigger. Team has a solid d with a few more solid up and comers. It would solve a huge need without sacrificing a roster player. It's just makes sense under the right situation. |

Interesting.
If McNabb for Getzlaf was offered.. and I know there would be other minor pieces involved.. That would be hard-pressed not to say yes to in my mind. |

I think Staff was 21 in Roch
Foligno is 20 I think
Marcus is not going to be a top 6 player. I would not think twice about moving him. |

I don't look at stats for minor league players.
When Tropp was up for the Sabres, his game on the ice was pretty good. I liked his style of play. He didn't have that deer in the headlights look either. I see a pretty nice 3rd liner, possible 2nd line fill in. He's a nice player to have.
Now, the Sabres just need to work on the top 6. |

Obviously more than McNabb and I was only including him because he was a part of you're list. Of course they wanted be 1 for 1. If you thought I was suggesting that well... |
