Doubt LA would do that or even consider it. Its not just Leafs fans that watch games. Macarthur is a tap in goal scorer, he doesnt create, hes soft on boards, weak defensively and only succeeds when hes set up. I dont see him bein an upgrade for any of their wing spots. Schenn and scrivens could be the foundation of something maybe, but i dont know... - Leafsrulesens
1)Ship out 2 of Connolly, Komi, Lombardi, Armstrong Steckel.
2) Fire Wilson.
All that needs to be done |

True ..But the price would have to be right...
He's a Yank so that works for Burke.. |

Crabb and Boyce are also guys i would not have in my lineup...id have frattin and even rosehill out there. This team has no heart or passion or even urgency...its really maddening to watch. |

I would try option 2 before I started tinkering with the roster again. |

And he's averaged ~60 points the last 4 or 5 seasons. I'd love to see him on our top 6.
Still doesn't fill that #1 center role though, but neither does Nash. |

Agreed, as it should have been at the beginning.. If Wilson is gone at the end of he year and we shore up some cap space, it will have been a successful season.
We got a gem in Franson and Gardiner. Lupul and Kessel continue to get better. We resigned a key piece of our D. - mfreedman
OK, take those pieces, put them in a vault, then take the rest and get some size and grit up front. We should be able to put the pieces together to get Nash, from what we have left. This team cannot win, the way it is currently constructed. Jets up one, and will be two points up after tonight, for the last playoff spot. Four game homestand, 1 out of 4 points so far. We're dead in the water. Book it! |

So, why is Armstrong not good enough to play for this disaster of a team?
The Boyce experiment is over. |

We need a little cap space freed up.. Plus people would overpay, nows the time to deal them. |

The tam cannot win because of the idiot leading them. Get rid of Wilson and this team will improve. His system is terrible and he is the only person who doesnt realize it.
Free up cap space, so we can tinker with the roster if we need to . Nash is not the answer, a coach is.
NAsh can be had in the offseason if we need to. In the mean time let next years coach get used to his team so he can work with Burke and make sure he gets what they need for next season. |
