Much like our good PP%, this seems like a misleading stat.
It fails to factor in inconsistency and unbalanced scoring. That we're in 8th in goals for is more a testament to our top line than the team's offensive ability.
That being said, I think that actually makes anybody not on our top line far more expendable.
I mean, how much worse could our secondary scoring get? |

Toronto is 7th in scoring, 28th in GAA....if they were to trade say Grabo ++ for Carter and bring in a goalie...they would be better. Not worse.

yup... just like all the other brand new Sabres fans who came out of the woodwork when Pegula bought the team. Shocking the number of "new" fans on these boards.
Was a pleasure seeing all of them "speak the truth" about how awesome Leino was and what a great signing it would be and how the Sabres were going to win the division and possibly contend for the cup this year.
