Leafman banned someone, and they begged me to undo it. He said something like "the abuse of power is unbelievable. I need you. Stick up for a fellow Leafer. It's what Schenn would do"

Ridiculous.

- AnnGee44

That was me. I only came to you after my pictures didn't entice Leafman enough.

i honestly think burke targets a goalie.. i just hope it isnt one from a defense first trap style team.. goalies from teams like that generally have inflated numbers

see bryzgalov

- Dozzer

That's why I don't like the Halak discussion either ...

I don't see any real options for immediate help in net other then Harding or Nabokov. Maybe take a flyer on Roloson and hope he finds his game.

Let us know when you leave, so that we can continue with the Schenn trade speculation

I'm afraid to fall under your wrath

I like the part where he tells us Tim Connolly, with his 9 goals, is a magor part of our offense.

Lombardi and Steckel both have 7, and Joey (frank)ing Crabb has 8, but Connolly's 9, that's offensive foundation right there

- Big_Lightnin

The whole premise of "lost offense" is ridiculous.

There is one phrase that comes out of every hockey draft with my friends, every year... "Someone has to score in ".

The fact is, most offense is a result of defensive mistakes. Teams will always make mistakes and other teams will always score. We might lose Connolly's 9 goals, but we would make it up elsewhere. Even if you lose a Kessel... you won't get the entire production back (unless an equal player comes back), but you would get a lot of it back.

... but yeah, the idea that we could not afford to lose Connolly is ridiculous.

He had one streak where he didn't get a point, I think it was 6 games.

C'mon man the guy is fifth in the league in scoring......... that doesn't make him streaky

- faceto27

Somewhere around December or January... he had a pretty prolonged stretch of ineptitude this year.

How old is Felix now? I think he was born in '71. If Brodeur can still rock the casba, then Felix should still be around haha

Isn't that what started this....talking about bernier!?!?
- clarkysduster

Yes . Its the price that Toronto will have tp pay for Bernier that will hurt the clubs scoring which is what started all oh this.

If they give up scoring roster talent which they do not have a lot of as it is, it will hurt them more than then help them.

Depends on who they give up to acquire Bernier.

Disagree........

Wilf Paiment and Pat Hickey did not equal Lanny McDonald in production output

Cujo has no problems stoning kids in commercials and contests!...maybe he could stop a 60foot shot, one foot wide of the net
