How do you know the place is a poophole as you so bluntly put, have you ever been to Edmonton or are you the stereotypical guy that just thinks where he lives is the best place in the world and has never been anywhere else to experience anything else.

Going to the game tonight as I happen to live nearby and have bet 2 cases of suds against my buddies who are Edmonton fans so the Flyers better break that winless streak they are currently on in Edmonton!

With JVR's raise and Voracek's minimum, that is about 3 million dollars more. So... more like 9 million.... But you also have to replace Jagr and 2 defenseman, and if you replace them with AHL like Harry Z, MAB and Gus... that is almost another 3 million. 990 for Gus and Harry Z, and 960 for MAB...Minimum...

So now your down to about 6 million, and you wont have much cap space for wiggle room... I would almost rather resign Grossman and Jagr cheap, and see if Carle will take a home town discount...

I'm willing to bet Jagr will take around the 2.5 mil range next year, and Grossman will take about 2.5 million. Maybe you can keep Carle for about 5 mill.
