Columbus could of waited until the summer to trade Carter. Its a panic move by the GM and he has dismantled that franchise in less than a year. Im all about making moves and taking chances but hes misfired too often. I cant wait to see what Nash gets dealt for.

Is Carter and Richards > Jack Johnson, Wayne Simmonds, Braydon Schenn and a 1st? Beginning of the year, no doubt, now not so sure.

I like CLB side of the deal better. if deano believed in his centers, he would have ponied up for Nash. now he has a situation where one of his centers will have to play out of position. JJ can still improve while I think carter is has plateaued and has very little incentive to change.

I'm not sure I agree with this... I actually think at the time the two trades were made, this trade got a better return than ours. I say that meaning... before Couturier slipped to #7 in that draft... Jack Johnson/1st > Voracek/1st (and yes I am taking into consideration the pick being #7 and LA's being 2nd half of the first round)

Not to mention the reputation Carter has developed this year around the league.
