So if some feel like its going to be hard to resign Voracek this offseason for what he will probably demand or deserve, would it make sense to trade him before the deadline and get something for him?

I don't think it's going to be that hard to re-sign him. He's been decent most of the season, and adapted well to his role, but he hasn't been so stellar to the point where he's in line for a huge raise on a cap-busting contract. Also, he's an RFA, not a UFA.

I don't think it's going to be that hard to re-sign him. He's been decent most of the season, and adapted well to his role, but he hasn't been so stellar to the point where he's in line for a huge raise on a cap-busting contract. Also, he's an RFA, not a UFA.
