Montreal currently has $20.7 in cap next season with only 12 roster players signed. Between Price and Subban, they'll likely account for about $10M, that leaves the Habs with $10.7M in cap space to sign another 9 players and somehow can fit Carter's $5.27M hit in there?

Other players that still need to be signed and that are due a raise:
- Eller
- Darche
- White
- Emelin
- Diaz
- +3 others (if Carter is included)

Sorry, unless Gauthier can move Gomez's albatross of a contract or is able to bury it AND sign the likes of Price and Subban to "home town discounts," Carter is not happening for Montreal.

It was terrible but I love how Leaf fans assume it was a Sens fan. I was at the draft and their were over 20 different teams jerseys being worn. The guy should of gotten beat down. Piece of poop
