Ask them in June (i.e. depends on the playoffs).
It's Cup of bust for Vancouver.

I just get the impression that Schneider is on the block because nobody will take Luongo's contract.

These long term contracts are starting to look worse and worse. Ovechkin, lou, Nash.
It makes me wonder when considering contracts for karlsson, but i'd give him what ever length he wants at this point, theres always exceptions to the rule, like Keith is a good one. |

Who would have ever guessed that signing players to guaranteed contracts over 5-6 years would be a bad idea?!?
To protect themselves from their own stupidity (which, it should never be forgotten, is the cap's primary purpose, which it does reasonably well) I bet the owners push for max length contracts of maybe 6 years in the next CBA. It will be a nasty fight. |

Any Devils fans in here?
If you guys lose out on Zidlicky.
Would you want Leopold for a 2nd+ prospect or a 1st? |
|
|
|
Isn't Harding supposed to be great? With Backstrom the wild could move him. I say do it up, if a deal can't be made with Grabovski(sp?) then maybe include him in a trade. Or find another one, maybe with Kadri.
EDIT: i mean leafs resigning grabs - david22
People have been putting Harding in trades for goalie-poor teams for about 8 years. I don't doubt it will happen eventually but expectations probably need to be tempered just a bit for him |

It is Leopold's destiny to continually be traded at the deadline for a 2nd every year or so. He's just one of those guys that gets dealt every year.
I see he doesn't have an NTC in his deal, and another year left. |

How bout Calgary? With Butler out for the next 3 weeks and Sarich being a healthy scratch.
Would you want Leopold for a high draft pick. We already have your 2nd so that wouldn't work. |

We'll give you Komi, as a matter of fact we don't even want a 2nd in return but we'll give you our 2nd for your trouble.

if your that hard up to get rid of Leopold, chances are no one else wants him, let alone trade a second for him.
remember, teams arent asking for leopold, you're asking them |

NOT AGAIN.
If Feaster gives up yet another 2nd (he doesn't have one until 2014) I would hope it would be for something better than that.
edit: not that the first two trades where he gave up 2nds were bad. |

I understand your logic... I was just asking fans if they would like Leopold on their team to be honest.
In reality though teams are asking about leopold. He might be the next best d-man that is still available. Quincey gets a 1st and I promise Leopold will get a good return as well |

So Leopold was worse then Gill? |

Considering it's almost the trade deadline, Ek's lack of updates and rumours is (frank)ing pathetic. He should be posting stuff every few hours. - The-O-G
He's trying to decide which team's fanbase to try and get excited today. Hasn't had an awful Flames rumor in awhile, but I have a feeling he's gonna go with Nashville today. |

Gill brings deep playoff experience.
Worse is a brutal word to use.
I would say that Gill had a higher perceived value than does Leopold. |

Well Gill is a defensive d-man
Quincey like Leopold is an offensive d-man.
I do believe that Leopold is better than Quincey and Quincey just got a very late 1st round pick. |

Excellent logic on your rebuttle. Please fill the room with ridiculous ideas on how the Leafs are gonna unload Komisarek now.
I am leaving. |
