This year I learned more about that dbag then in all his years in Philly...He's injury prone (not much he can do about that), he's lazy, and quit on his team...Nash is the polar opposite...Plays hard for a suck-munch team year in and year out...Would love to see how he does on a good team... - Flyfreaky
Didn't people say that about Bryzgalov? |

Most of those party animal types tend to fizzle out fast,Heater, carter and probably OV are all falling victim.Teams need to be weary of how much that party lifestyle can be destuctive in a lockeroom, philly did the right thing moving him out |

If Leaf fans throw up an offer, I will have to add two more pieces of poop to the offer.

Jeff has been playing hurt on a struggling team. He's put in a position where he's going to have trouble being that setup guy for Nash. That's never been the kind of player he is and many people familiar with Carter have stated that from the beginning. He's a shooter who can fire the puck in mid-stride. He needs big bodies crashing & screening the net to be successful. Honestly, he'd be a perfect fit with Toronto, he's played with Lupul before.
His contract is a bigger issue for Jeff than anyone else. He's a 35-40 goal scorer that could make way more than his current contract. Jeff would probably love to have a do-over with his contract. The fact that GM's did not want to take it on because of length has got to be posturing. Cause any damn fool can tell you, 5 mil for 35 goals a year is a freakin' steal. And to have it for his entire career is highway robbery. Why the hell do you think Jeff was so mad after he got traded from Philly? This contract was a hometown discount because he wanted to stay. He could have gotten way more. |

You can't actually SEE it but if I had to guess, this fruity gentleman who appears in one of the HB ads being served today, is definitely rocking a turtleneck as well.

Yep ,addiction problems can be very troubling .The teams that are near the top of the standings tend not to have many of these.Any wonder why chicago has struggled this season.Kane looks disinterested, and has a bit of a reputation of loving to party a little too much. Now he is still young and this could be a passing thing but time will tell i suppose |

Isn't Kessel also the shooter?
And isn't nash a big guy who can crash the net?
I need this and this and this and the situation needs to be this way and only this way and everyone needs to blow me when i am resting.
Gawd he seems pretty high maintenance |

I never thought I'd hear you talk like this...Could you imagine being good enough to play a game like this while forging a lucrative living? I'd play in Iran for that kind of opportunity... |

He seems to be turning into that guy that will only play if he's pampered and happy...Look at Iggy...He loves Calgary, but if he were to be traded you know he'd play his heart out every night for his new team...It doesn't look like Carter's swinging that way... |

I hear you. All of us sitting on our asses agree with you.
However, market dictates price and talent alone (not his excess baggage) would dictate he should earn more.
But being a business, it is Carter's own fault if he falsely believed he would never be shopped around.
He got what he deserved and has to live with it. |
