they have under 2M in cap space if i'm not mistaken. columbus wants goaltending...flames wont trade kipper. karlsson sucks, irving isnt good enough to be a main piece in the offer. the flames wont move baertshi either. which means its down to giving up guys like backlund ++. considering he is injured and even when he's healthy he sucks, it's not going to happen. but yea, i'm waiting, go on, tell me how the flames can EASILY get jeff carter. show me an offer that would work financially and would meet the asking price of the blue jackets. it's pretty pathetic that i know more about the flames than you do, but go ahead, prove me wrong.
