yeah...that cheese could be used by darcy do sign dustin penner and they could move him to center...with a little left over to bring rory out of retirement
- b0s0o1

Rory is an NHL All-star.. almost.

Miller is not going to be moved. Enroth on the other hand maybe if someone is looking but we have to remember we have nothing on the farm that really shows flashes of being capable of playing in the NHL even as a backup

I blame EK.

If not for his efforts, Nashville would no longer have a team.

i blame shania twain, if they'd have gone on that date, or she persued another, maybe this site would not exist

Common sense would dictate that LA has zero use for a 6.25 million dollar goalie when they have a cheaper one that's better already.
- dadeadhead

Wasnt saying Miller was traded to LA just traded and then we picked up Bernier ina seperate trade.Id rather have Quick tho.

they have made great strides but are still at least 2 years away..

Knapp is an interesting one.. he has the size that the leagues goalies are going towards but has been all over the place.. it will be interesting to see what they do with Rochesters goalies next season..

In NHL 12 I traded Stafford and Roy to Detroit for Zetterberg and won the cup.

Not true.

Foligno looks like he could back up Matt Ellis some day.

I would certainly listen to offers for Miller, but he is unlikely to be moved. His play over the last few years, coupled with his contract, will make that tough.

I have been worried for a while about his health and mindset. I am hoping that we will get the old Miller back, who was not the best, but certainly good enough to win a Cup with the right team in front of him.

You weren't?

Whats your opinion on moving Miller then trying to get Bernier ?Miller would be out with his wife and wed save in salery along with the signal this team s looking to move forward.

Maybe we should get more draft picks for proven players so we can continue our long history of drafting (and using) top flight Centers. I mean look at them all.

It does say move Miller then get Bernier.... Separate deals. Miller could go to Anaheim. Neither one makes sense for either team, so in this scenario, it's all good.

I was 4 when we drafted him but wasn't he a left winger?

We have always been good at drafting centers in the first round.. who can forget about Jiri Novotny and Marek Zagrapan that we recently drafted to be top line centers.. they are tearing it up.

That's totally true, but you also can't expect rookies to come up and play top 4 D minutes and not have a drop off. If you rank Myers, Ehrhoff, Regehr and Sekera as the top 4 D on the Sabres there was a 12 game stretch where at least 2 (sometimes 3) of our top 4 were out at the same time. We were 2-8-2 in that 12 games. There's your playoffs right there.
- Pierceme69

This is a BIG problem IMO. Sekera is brutal and other than the fact that he can occasionally move the puck out of his zone he has ZERO value IMO.

Him and his contract cannot be moved fast enough IMO...

Left winger or not, he's a better center than Derek Roy.

Oh I know what it says.

When it states after that Miller would be out with his wife, it confuses the reader.

And you're correct with

LA has Quick
Ana has Hiller
SJ has Niemi

They're all set at the goaltending position. All are younger, cheaper, and better options than a guy who will be 32 at the start of next year.

due to his contract and the way it is structured i can't see him being moved till the trade deadling 2013 (at the earliest)
