They suck...I needed a new team... ...

I wish my Ducks would dump Getzlaf to someone like the leafs as we would get a great package in return..

No my ducks dont want a leaf goaltender..

We could package a deal for a former allstar defender and an outstanding shutdown defender whos currently just getting his legs back with the Marlies!?

Gus needs to play the butterfly position, have his stick square to the ice, both arms out and not move the entire game. Atleast then we'd have better odds of pucks hitting him.

And he needs to stay inside the net.......... I have a heart attack anytime he leaves the net to play the puck

I think, that the poor timing of these soft goals, has probably cost the team about 10 points........ also think that the few times they were outstanding in net, they may have saved us about 3-4 points. Net loss about 6 point.

In this day and age, 6 point swings is enormous.

Were lucky right now that Washington is playing so poorly and that Winnipeg isnt playing too great either. Now if we can just get a half decent goalie, play smart hockey and Ottawa begins to slide...were good to go. Still wont convince me Ottawa keeps this up.

Boston is life and death holding on to first right now.......... they have some issues too. The loss of Horton has really franked them up

Morning Bruce....

I got to thinking...I wouldnt be so upset about this goalie situation if a certain someone didnt convince me to be patient with our goalies and that in time they should get the job done

Jk....Id still be upset.

Ill also throw in a legit number one goalie who just needs a better system to play within. And a kid with a great bong colection. Fax machine, ON.

you should still be patient with them.. but i said all summer long that they should pick one to work on and sign a vet backup in case their play gets iffy..

however my suggestion was to sign conklin so that apparantley was a big swing and a miss lol

im definitely being patient with Reimer...figure if we can get a good enough tender with experience they could mold him into a decent goalie for the long run. Not saying hell be our starter long term....but he could be good to have if he continues to improve. Id like to think Nabby could be had for a decent price...say a defender who lived nearby

i think nabby would be the type of guy burke should target... older.. experienced.. cheap

however who knows if the isles are willing to give up a cheap starting goaltender... doubt it.

hahahahahahahaha i just caught the komi reference.. ok.. who do we take back to balance the salaries? cause the isle arent about to take on extra salary (unless its a move to get a guy whose cap hit exceeds his salary for the next two years

He would be perfect for us right now.......... He is not going to come cheap though. Speculation is that it will cost us a first rounder.
