don't worry guys. if the leafs don't make the playoff this year then you will never have to talk about wilson again.

According to McKenzie....

he doesn't feel Nash lands in LA..... he feels Carter or Hemsky is more likely.

Sure sounds like nobody is going to give what LA wants...... price needs to come down

Well my God, I am sold.
Kulemin is suffering from depression.

Simple like that!

Bill Frist assures me you can diagnose many things by seeing a guy on television.

Kulemin's funk has been talked about all year by many, many people. The word on the street is he isn't the same guy - on and off the ice.

regardless of this crazyness you guys speak of....Kulemin will be a Leaf next year and should compete for that 20-25 goal mark

Mike Augello: Meeting in Manhattan About Carter??

His belief is that the meeting between Columbus GM Scott Howson and Brian Burke in Manhattan on Sunday was more likely about center Jeff Carter than sniper Rick Nash.

Maclean went on to say that Carter is likely to be traded by February 27th and believes that he will either be traded to Los Angeles or Toronto.

- mikeinbuffalo

Can somebody explain to me why Carter to L.A. makes any sense?

Kopitar, Richards, Carter, Stoll down the middle sounds nice, but it's not really all it's cracked up to be in reality.

None of those top 3 guys are 3rd line centres. And Stoll is not a fourth line centre.

That is simply wasted talent and wasted money.

Or Kulemin is simply back to his regular production after a career year...
- Pecafan Fan

Well, it's true that his shooting percentage last season was abnormally high, not just for him, but for NHLers in general... but his game is very different from normal years. Very little enthusiasm for anything.

Wonder why teams hire sports psychologists when everyone and their mother can tell what is wrong with players by looking at them on a TV screen...

Also, it is completely impossible that Kulemin had a career year last season and that he's only back down to earth...

See the other post. it's not just the stats, he looks different out there.

And how do you know the sports psychologist didn't come to the same conclusion?

Mikhail Grabovski
Nikolai Kulemin
Ben Scrivens
Toronto 2nd 2012

To Toronto:

Dustin Penner

Lupul-Carter-Kessel
Penner-Colborne-Nash
MacArthur-Bozak-Lombardi
Connolly-Steckel-Armstrong

Johnson-Gardiner
Franson-Liles
Gunnarson-Schenn

Bernier
Gustavsson

If Penner doesn't work hard on 2nd line, dump him to 4th, move Mac up to 2nd and Connolly to 3rd. Columbus finally gets a big d man who will play with Wisniewski. The CBJ deal works out to be Phaneuf and Reimer for Nash, and Kadri and the 1st for Carter. LA deal works out and Penner is a throw in since hes been in the dog house for 2 weeks or so. Scrivens can become a decent back up for Quick and they give Bernier a chance to be a #1 somewhere else. They take Grabo and Kulemin so they know Grabo will resign since Kulemin is his best friend. We get Johnson to replace Phaneuf and Penner is a big body.
