Russian planes represent 3% of the Worlds flights, and are responsible for 40% of the crashes over a period of time (which escapes me at the moment). It's safer to fly out of the Republic of Congo.

They dont have the best quality control. The only thing I can think of that they make with any kind of quality are Vacuum tubes for guitar amplifiers. And even then, quality is relative because there is nothing to compare them to.

Bryz has been the subject too much but I need to be clear. You can not win in the POs if your goalie gives up a softie or two a game. He needs to get better or we need to find a stopgap. Most important player on the ice hands down. I am a huge Bryz supporter but this might not be his year.

Watch the PIT and NYR game and see what good goal tending can do. We don't have that and we won't go far without it. This is our need if we want to make noise in the POs.

Listening, and reading the garbage all these people spew is doing exactly what they want. If everyone who complained about them, simply ignored them like they didn't exist, perhaps they would be replaced with more competent HB posters.

I used to get an Arbitron log quite often. Last time I was asked they asked if I had any friends in radio, which I do, and I was taken off the list. So it doesn't matter what I listen to, it doesn't show up on anyone's count.

But I did tweet Barkann and ask how stupid a local media member would have to be to not recognize clear sarcasm when he hears it.

- bodiva88

well he just said it again......that Bryz thought they were cheering for him. how can anyone be THAT stupid. seriously.

I hadn't heard of that story Bill. I will look it up and read more about it. Regarding Cherepanov, the Russian doctors knew he had a heart ailment and were shooting him up with injections of substances that stunned me. The arena this incident occurred in wasn't equiped with a stretcher, ambulance, the defibrillator that was used had the zamboni driver running around looking for an extension cord. It was unbelievable how poorly it was handled. I know Jaromir Jagr was a teammate of Cherapnov at the time, during the access you have had to him, did you ever ask him about the incident, or the air travel in the KHL?
- PLindbergh31

Jagr has said that he enjoyed the KHL and was well treated, but did note the travel there is brutal and that the Cherepanov tragedy made him take stock of of his own life and he gained more perspective.

He thinks he was treated well simply cause he was Jagr. I bet they don't care about the average player.

He i reaching epic proportions today. They are ripping Bryz for his comments against the fans. for the love of god. Now when Hartnell embraces the Hartnell down mocking, he is smart and everyone is on board. I took no offense to Bryz saying Philly fans boo him and the Winnipeg fans cheer him. He was being sarcastic. WTF cares?????

I want to say something to Glen but hate ripping another show to him so i won't. Angelo is why I stopped listening on my morning commute and I am this close to not listening to the 10-1 show.

I already rip Tim to shreads. He actually responded to me directly yesterday .

Sadly, as much as he respects us, he hasn't figured out his main man Pinnochio is clueless. I still can't get over the 3 gold medal wins for Jags and Kubina in yesterday's article.

I told Sarah about it and she had it fixed but I tweeted Tim and he came back at me and said "he played on all 3 of those teams with Jagr as I said" to which I responded with "U had said 3 gold medal teams before the article was fixed"

Crickets after that.
