Just where in the (frank) is Hemsky going is the big question? Why are we not selling some of our other assets as well... Not saying we have to fire sell just that Tambo waits til the last (frank)ing hour and I am inpatient... I am not sure why CBJ gave up on Vermette... I would have kept him if I were them...

Would you take a 12 and 13 2nd rounder for us to rent him?
If not, what would you want to be able to swallow Calgary taking him?

In my defense sometimes the dragons appear smaller than they really are.

I think the amount of liquor consumed directly affects how small they appear.

Do you guys think you will trade down in the draft this year? The top 3 right now are all european forwards. Nail Yakupov, Mikhail Grigorenko and Filip Forsberg.

I think we all know, you need to draft a top prospect d-man this time around.

Do you move down and net another lower pick in the process? Do you draft Grinkorenko, giving you another young asset to trade for a established d-man or do you just say (frank) it and take Jacob Trouba or Ryan Murray 2nd overall?

This could be a really interesting off-season for the Oilers

Of all the posts to quote you quote this one?

As for the draft. Drafting a d-man doesn't neccasarily do us any good. I'll leave it to Stu the magnifcent bastard to decide whether or not the drop off from Grigorenko to Trouba/Murray is that steep.

I like the idea of Grigorenko (big center), I just hate the idea of him being russian.

They just need to find PRV linemates that compliment his skill set.

Since his last callup he's looked good with whoever he played with. I thought him Eager and Belanger would be a poop show last night, but it wasn't.

One thing that isn't bad is that he and Yakupov are already playing in NA. Bad thing is Grigorenko is too (frank)ing long of a name. I guess I'll call him Grigo.

a rookie dman wont necessarily help the team right away or in the next 2 or 3 years for that matter. they need to get better now and at least make the playoffs next year. Lots of dmen in the system so might as well let them get better. If they can draft a guy that makes an impact immediately as hopkins did, then ya have 2 lines that can score, which is difficult for other teams to completely shut down both. sure maybe we give up a few more goals, but if they score lots then it dont matter if ya win games 5-3 or 6-4 cause a W is a W.

I'd be worried about either one pulling a Radulov.

i am sure they have a desire to play in the NHL over the KHL otherwise why play in the CHL at all when they could already be playing in russia and be getting paid.

At this point in the rebuild I just want the best player available with #2. It's no the end of the world of Ringo can't play until 13-14. And it's not the end of the world if Murray takes a couple years to make the NHL. Honestly the pieces we need to make this team a playoff team next year shouldn't cost that much.

(frank) yeah I would take 2 2nd rounders for Hemsky if we can not re-sign him -which is looking obvious... I mean I do not want him to go for nothing... Plus it would be most entertaining seeing Feaster try and sign him in the summer...

I've said this on here a few times, since Grigs can play wing, why not keep Gagner at center and put Grigs on RW at least for some time.

Either or, depends how good Grigs or RNH get in/on the dot... Speaking of RNH when is he back or is he done for the season? I sure hope he is not made of glass- as Landeskog seems more and more like the guarantee that he was forecasted to be... I mean RNH has been more than great when playing... but he has not been playing and he hurt himself on a weird play that looked innocent...

hes listed as day to day but why rush him back now? it was a freak accident the first time around so might as well make sure its good to go and its all healed up and able to take a hit or another awkward fall into the boards. Besides, needed a center bad and landeskog isnt a center. Maybe if they drafted seguin instead of hall they take landeskog instead of RNH. dont think ya can be too picky with those 4 players as they are all gonna be superstuds
-yeah it looked innocent enough, but those are generally the ones that hurt ya, when ya dont expect to get hit and ya go into the boards awkward and funny it dont take much to do some damage to the joint.
