i didnt think people actually came here for rumours. i thought it was just for a laugh. i guess thats how he does make money, off the people who actually think he has sources. stop asking him where ryder is going, he doesnt know. he'll just say "ryder is 100% on the move to the bruins, but dont count out the other 29 teams in the nhl".

It should be worth f --- all. Aside from fact that media rarely has any idea of any discussions between gms, are only told what the team wants them to know as part of the negotiating process, like agents using Leafs in every rumour, guys like this and ones who pop up near trade deadline, claim theyre connected and all that but are anonymous... come on...

Its one more week, have fun discussing alot of trades that wont go down, talk about who you want on your team and who youd give up, but dont take anything guys like this say as fact...that account right there is a kid in his basement

Why not? You guys could use a quality center with decent playmaking ability. Iggy, Cammy, Tanguay, Jokinen and Roy would give you a nice top 6.

While I was watching the Caps/Canes game last night and I heard that Backstrom well be out for some time yet , the 1st person that came to mind was Derek.

I thought to myself with the Caps struggles and all even after a coaching change they are one of those teams that are in desperate need of an infusion of FRESH talent.

What and who would the Caps be willing to give up for him is the MAIN question.

Make no mistake that Caps team looks lost to me and Ovi and Semin looked totaly disinterested last night.

They need help for sure.

The only pieces I've heard were on the table were 21 year old Johansson, underachieving Knuble, Semin, and probably a few AHL guys.

They do have 3 of the top 5 scoring AHL guys this season but they are all UFAs at the end of this year.
