how about we trade Grabovski for a 1st and a prospect, forget about the playoffs; whats one more year anyway.
Trade Komi for whatever we can, to get him off the books.
Use our 2 1st rounders or one and prospects to get a goalie like Bernier or Schneider in the summer, and sign Parise as a free agent

Yea, I'm losing my patience with Kadri.

He seems to want to play his own game mroe than anything and I just think he might be frustrated with the organization.

That's a big reason why I've wanted him to be part of a major pickup over Colborne, his value may never be higher as I too have lost patience with him.

We need guys like to step up and show they can thrive in a tough hockey market like this. If not, we just might have to move him

He can rott in the AHL with that attitude for all I care.

Don't forget that Toronto has some 3rd & 4th round draft picks tied up with the Lupul & Lambardi deals.

Bored at work!!
Keith Aulie and a 2nd for Steve Ott

Jerry D'amigo and a 3rd rounder for Paul Gaustad

Lombardi to San Jose for a 3rd rounder

Komisarek to the Islanders for a 4th Rounder

Lupul - Bozak - Kessel
Connelly- Grabovski - Kulemin
Ott - Gaustad - MacArthur -
Brown - Steckal - Crabb

Phaneuf - Gunnersson
Liles - Franson
Schenn - Gardiner

Reimer/Gus

Lots of size ands toughness inserted into the lineup

That's why the Leaf threads suck. Just a group of homers, who don't have a grip on reality.

We what Kulemin can do but the other two are just plugs with no finish.

Disagree with Crabb. Boyce is just an extremely hard worker. I love that in him.

No but one mysteriously found its way in my rectum after an overdose of Nyquil and cheap cider.

Sadly, the crayon went in Purple, but came out a different colour

Agree.

If we included him as a key piece to fill an area of need, I wouldn't overly care.

Yeah, it was 3 in 158, not 153

Bob Mac said that Burke had an offer on the table for Grabo - it was a 2nd rounder and a prospect

not a flattering stat, but that is not the same as 3 goals in last 158 man games. He's just adding up all the slumps.

still, not good.

Connolly, Grabo's 1st via DET, 2nd, Mac and Gusti to CBJ for Carter, Mason and Methot. We wouldn't be overpaying, and we'd dump Connolly's deal. This would be the only way I'd be interested in Carter as it must be tempting for some fool GM to overpay for him. If we can flip Carter and our own 1st rounder to LA for Kopitar I'd also do that, but that's another story

I would think so too...

And I would love to see that turd and his fat contract out the door, as you can imagine Franson will want/deserve in the 3-3.5 range

Would love to add a guy like Ott if the leafs can get rid of useless players like Lombardi or Connolly. Still guys on this team are being forced to play either on lines or positions theyre not suited to. Anyways, i don't expect any kind of major move here. Mainly because the teams the leafs are trying to fend off likely wont make any major moves, so no point giving up futures at this point.

The best move this team could make is to fire the head coach, but even the looniest of leafs fan know thats not gonna happen this year.

Problem with this is that it basically takes the worst of certain people.

Why would you even include Rosehill? When was the last time he played?

Armstrong's last 16 games extend back into NOV. Boyce, same thing.

I agree it is still bad, but not as bas as theya re making it out to be.
