It depends. Don't know I am willing to pay him 3 million. Maybe if they can get like a two or three year deal for 2.25-2.75 million would be good.

The Devils also have to see what they'll do with Bernier if he keeps it up. He might ask for like 2million, although I only see him getting around 1.25-1.75, because once Zajac is back, he's on the fourth line.

I have a good feeling about this Devils team though. They have some pretty good depth, when Marty is on and were playing solid defense, I am confident against any team in the Eastern Conference.

But it's not the 30-shot mark yet.

I would consider selling high on Lupul like we should have done with Kulemin.

I like Lupul, but players having career years in their late 20s make me nervous.

I am a huge fan of what he is done here in Toronto, and the chemistry he has with Kessel, but to say he has more value is absurd.

There is however the chance that he COULD have more value soon if he continues to improve.

Yeah, Nash is the more valuable player overall. Much more valuable.

I'm guessing that as good as Lupul+Kessel has looked, Nash+Kessel would look better.

sounds like hockeyinsiderr alright

i dont think howson is going to trade nash for a guy who is UFA at the end of next season who likely wouldnt resign and a unproven goalie who, in his second year, has shown the consistancy of a backup goaltender. even the leafs first rounder would be mid round at best
