I'd replace Crabb with Frattin.
More physical....and offensively better overall. - Pen15
Not sure about that. Look at Crabbs stats in the A this year. I realize that Frattin may have mroe offensive potential, but currently I would go with Crabb. Next year is a different story. Now, if I had my say, here are the lines:
Lupul-Kulemin-Kessel
Mac-Grabo-Connolly
Crabb-Boyce-Frattin
Brown-Steckel-Army

How is trading Kulie for Stewart a good move? Youre moving sideways there. I dont think people really get how good Kulemin really is and can be. Yes hes had a down year, its been a really tough year hockey aside. When he gets his head straight he will be a regular 25-30 goals but anyone who watches his game knows hes way more than that
When D pinches on his shifts and gets caught, whos the first guy backing them up, even actually plays solid d. When a stick breaks whos the first to hand his over. Whos the one whos given a guy like grabovski the room hes had over last 2 seasons. His hockey IQ is off the charts, and is the smartest player, between the ears, in Toronto since Alex Mogilny.
Hes had some bad puck luck this season, but if you watch him play he does so much away from the puck.. Im only talking about the all around game rather than offence because Stewart will have similar numbers on good years for the both of them, but moving Kulemin for anyone other than a player that significantly upgrades the talent of this team is a bad move.
Can you tell im a fan? haha - Leafsrulesens
I just wish Wilson would use him more for PK. Best PK'ers leafs have had in last 20 years we Douggie, Mats and Almo. All their best offensive players... A PK is alot more dangerous when the other team has to worry about something other than setting up one timers |

Bozak has been arguable our most consistant forward - especially defensively - he gets waived? lol |

1. Overpayment

3. They wouldnt take him for a 7th
4. NMC prevents this

I don't think we need Crabb for scoring....we're pretty solid in that department...
I think we need some grit on the 3rd line. In that respect, Frattin is more physical and harder on the puck/boards....not to mention, he's more creative offensively. |

Completely forgot that.. I love Bozak, can;'t believe I missed him. I would move Connolly and throw Bozie on the wing with Grabo and Mac. |

I wouldnt use him specifically for scoring. He is a good shutdown guy, always give 100%, and has good speed. The offensive potential is just a bonus. |

Komi has a NMC and ,modified NTC - as in a list of teams he will accept a trade too. I believe it's 10 teams. Would imagine his hometown islanders is on the list.

I like the stance BB is taking with Grabs.
As I've said all along, it's not crazy to think north of 5m per for a guy who really isn't going to get us to the promised land.
If we can get a 1st rounder along with a guy like Helm I'd be ecstatic, but the addition of Helm might be too much.
If BB can get a first for Grabs a couple days in advance of the deadline, then that very well may facilitate a larger deal.
As per the Nash package: Schenn would go well before Gardiner, And there's simply no way we're trading our only real hope for a legit no. 1 centre in exhange for a guy who's...wait for it....wait for it....not a centre.
Good job holding the fort BB |

Fair enough....
And I'm of the opinion that Frattin is better in all facets of the game....now and in the future. |

I would think so too...
And I would love to see that turd and his fat contract out the door, as you can imagine Franson will want/deserve in the 3-3.5 range |

Why would you take your 2nd best faceoff guy and move him to the wing? - Pen15
Because he has played well enough to justify being on a scoring line. Both him and Grabo play well defensively. It would improve our 2nd line's faceoffs. If Grabo gets thrown out, we have Bozie. Or put Bozie at C and shift Grabo to the wing. |

The team that doesn't land Hemsky will than target Grabs...... |
