I agree, but that argument doesn't fly against some of toughest best teams in the league. They need more center help, (Stastny, Carter), more size in the top 9, and more character throughout. That will go a long way.

It's just that our needs are greater at centre.

Personally I think tha price for Carter would actually be decent if we can get a 1st off another team for Grabs, and make that and a 2nd the starting point for a deal.

He is by far the best asset we have as a prospect.
But lets not compare him to anyone.....hopefully in 5 years, prospect will be compared to Gardiner.....in a positive way of course.
