Goalie win??? - Glenman12
Goalie and defense - both have been excellent on the winning streak. This is how they have to play in the playoffs: 2-1, 3-2....

Excellent summary. The Hawks once gain show they can compete with the best when they play smart, aggressive hockey.
Does anybody still feel we should trade Crawford? Or Kaner?
- SAVOIRFAIRE
Hell no ! But i'm day to day on this

Nobody going to compliment Kane on his effort tonight? - RickJ
Kane was awesome tonight. Don't think he got a point, but he played the way stars play. NO Complaints here.

He was a beast. He controlled significant parts of the game almost by himself.
One thing that does concern me is he seems to think he can go one on four all the time. Some times he just needs to dump it.
Nice to see two ugly goals in the same game. If you added up Kruger's seven goals this year, would they total 50 feet? The little guy is fearless in the crease. - NewToHockey
Stalberg helped Kane and Sharp too when he played up with them. After the first 10 minutes of the game the Hawk's speed had the Wings on their heels alot. They would have iced the game in the 2nd period if it wasn't for Howard. |

Really good grinding win--coming from behind AND keeping the door closed has gotta help confidence after that abysmal losing streak. - grinder10
Two straight grinding wins against divisional rivals, solid goaltending. I love how our prospects are developing at the NHL level. Leddy, Kruger, Hayes, and Olson were outstanding. Anyone talking about trading Stalberg , slap yorselves. Still don't understand how Frolik and Lepisto aren't given any respect by Q. |

John Scott now DRESSED for 4 straight wins. I know he was glued to the pine almost all night, but facts are facts. |

More important, two one-goal wins in a row, won in the 3rd period and goalie/defense kept the opposition chances to a minimum and the puck out of the net. |

Kane had a good game tonight . He had some jump out there and if my eyes were not deceiving me he threw a check. Nice game for Hayes too and he gets rewarded for going to the front of the net. Olsen looks to be improving as well. I like his size. He is not afraid to hit and he has a decent shot from the point.
Bowman still needs to go out and get another d-man. They got away with playing Scott tonight and while he didn't do anything to hurt he only logged a few minutes extending the playing time of the other d-men. All in all nice win against one of the best teams in the NHL.

Lepisto brings a toughness to the D. Hopefully he's officially out of Q's doghouse.

I kept thinking to myself "Don't the Wings sharpen their skates on the road?" They looked a step slow most of the game. |

Solid win tonight but also two strong showings against two very good teams. Kane was a beast. Olsen showed a lot. Is the October Crawford back? |

He wasn't this good in October. Right now, he looks like the April Crawford. |

When Hammer returns they better not send down Olson or Hayes. Bowman better get a trade done for Morrison now before that happens or we will have to put him on waivers. |

When Hjamarsson returns, I would think Lepisto will be banished to the press box. I would think when Montador returns, Olsen will catch the bus back to Rockford.
As for Morrison, what do you trade him for? He's worth nothing. Bowman got him for essentially nothing. If the Hawks don't want him around, send him to Rockford. |

Frolik needs to change out his stick -- it's cursed. |
