Its 2013 not 2012 pick though.
11-20 is a more fair assessment. - JVince117

You have got to be kidding. That is so grossly an overpayment it isn't even funny. - GoneFullRetard
Fair enough.
Take out Leopold and put in Sekera. Take out Enroth all together.
I don't know if it is as likely for it to happen. (not at all in reality but.. you know) |

the pick looks more top 10 prob in the 5-7 range - dmarsden2988
Ouch, yes then that is over payment...Maybe Vanek, Enroth, and pick for Nash, Mason and 3rd...I don't even know why Buffalo would want Nash... |

I still think Burke will do nothing by deadline day. Do not see Burke overpaying for a player. |

Be honest though
It is not that bad of a trade and Columbus gets what he wants. - JVince117
It's pretty solid and probably right about the Jackets are looking for. As silly as it sounds though I think Dorsett would make that a no deal. If you take a Boll or a Dane Byers, someone instead of Dorse, I think you'd be fine. |

Keep Enroth in and take out the Dman altogether.
Nash, Boll, and a 4th
Vanek, Adam, Enroth, and a 1st. |

I would take that trade in a heartbeat as long as the 1st pick is in 2013.
Sabres need to keep our top 7 pick for this year to get Galchenyuk. |

The Sens fans have their trolls. I do not generally think you are among them.
They started to sound a lot like Vancouver and Buffalo fans when the Sens started having more success than anyone predicted this year. - GoneFullRetard
The moderate success we have had ,isnt all that special we still are no match for the higher tiered teams and still have more holes to fill before we will be a considered a contender.
If buffalo and Wash dont crap the bed as bad as they have ,we would probably be on the outside looking in.We are still developing our kids at the ahl and junior levels this will take time, and i can see a stumble or two along the way but we are on the right track.I hope Toronto decides to move along the route as well ,moves for short term gain often leads to long term Pain |

Not this year. I don't think a 6th overall scorer in the league is available. |

vanek is grossly overpaid for his contributions with a far superior team around him then what Nash has ever had in Columbus. Nash puts up identical if not better numbers than Vanek with far less talent around him.
Put Nash with the better Talent and he could improve even more.
Nash gets paid 700K more than Vanek does and I think it is worth that. Plus Nash would be locked up until 2017 and would be a great piece to build the future around if Miller cannot be the face of the franchise any longer.
Nash, Pommer, Myers, Ehrhoff... if Roy stays and even Ennis has played strong lately would be a very nice core. |

Heard this one today:
CLB Gets: Vanek, Leopold, Enroth, Adam, and 2013 1st round pick
BUF Gets: Nash, Dorsett, and 2012 4th round pick.
Columbus wants a top 6 winger - Check
Columbus wants a top 4 D-man - Check
Columbus wants a goalie prospect - Check
Columbus wants a good F prospect - Check
Columbus wants a 1st round pick - Check
Even as a Buffalo fan I THINK I would be for this. If I had to chose between Vanek's 7+M for the next few season or Nash's 7+M til 2017... I would take Nash. - JVince117
Thats too much cap going to Cls, no? |
