all this nash talk is so stupid. he is going to LA. the kings are the most desperate team to land nash, and have bernier which columbus covets. the rangers are fine without nash so there isnt a massive urgency to land him, plus they dont have a goalie they can offer. the leafs wont want to blow up their core for him, and will likely wait till the summer and overpay to land parise. i'm tired of tsn making it seem like there is a raging sweepstakes for nash when the kings are obviously the team that will land him. philly is now out of the sweepstakes, but were they even on nash's so called list from the start? philly goes and dumps carter/richard's contracts so they can get a goalie and solve some of their cap issues later down the road, and then they go and trade for a guy like nash? i dont know why san jose is even mentioned as a potential team to land nash.

nash to the kings, for bernier ++++. doubt it will include JJ since it seems he wont be happy there, and columbus doesnt want another carter situation. my guess is brown will be included...captain for captain. perhaps bernier + brown + 1st? maybe voynov is in the deal?

side note...imagine if carolina still had JJ...and they used him (and more) to land nash. nash and staal would be pretty awesome.

Why do you need a source? It's not rocket science. LA should be the most likely destination for Nash because there is a need for him and the Kings have the goods to get him. Philly makes no sense and quite frankly, neither do the Rags. Toronto? Really? For what - a bust of a prospect (Kadri), healthy scratch (Schenn) and a guy who has regressed offensively (Kulemin)? LOL.

The problem with that rationale is that Columbus is horrible at developing young players. It seems like every young player they get just forgets how to play hockey when they get there. That's why Rick Nash is the only good player they've pretty much ever drafted. And if they got Bernier or Voynov, they'd start sucking to. So they just have to pick their poison. Either a bunch of young underacheiving prospects, or a bunch of overpaid established players that don't want to be there. Man, it sucks to be a Blue Jackets fan.
